Visited with great expectations due to reviews. However, just poor service turned this into worst dinner of our family trip. Just 3 of us, and waiter did not really explain menu was all large portions. I inquired about gua bao, which they are known for, and that I was concerned about portion size due to our party of 3. He said no problem, I can change the order to 3 (but price for each bun would be a bit more, fine) and if you can't finish, you can take home. Sounded great, extra points for accommodating our smaller party size, so I thought. What he didn't mention was that he could only changed order for buns to 3 (for about the same amount of money), and the humongous meat order for 8 buns would remain the same--would have been very helpful to be clear about this before we ordered. WTF are 3 obvious tourists going to do with all the leftovers?! Plus the huge portions of the other two dishes we ordered?! My mom, indignant, got up to complain, saying she would rather we get all 8 buns (given we weren't saving any money anyway). What an unnecessarily uncomfortable nightmare of a meal. Tried our best to not waste food. Were not offered anything to drink, and it seemed like cold water had to be purchased, so we just got up and picked out water bottle and juice from the fridge to help down our enormous meal. Food is fantastic, every dish is great. Very friendly service and lots of dishes to choose from with English in the menu. It's some of the best food in Taiwan or anywhere. The dishes are large and with the all-you-can-eat rice with oil + sauce plus the all-you-can-eat ice dessert, it makes this place also a great value, you'll probably be bringing food home. 復古調調，古早氛圍， 吃來吃去還是台菜最受我家歡迎， 店裡陳設的小玩意兒新奇有趣， 囊括著父母輩的童年唄。

空間略擁擠，動線略不順暢， 桌距近，客滿聊天需放大音量 (就會更吵...哈哈哈

點了8菜1湯，內用白飯放題， 桌上有豬油及醬油可自製豬油拌飯， 上菜速度OK，控菜時間掌握的不錯!!

‖古早味封肉筍干‖ 舍弟堅持要點封肉， 因為這道是外婆的手路菜， (令我們懷念的味道~ 封肉就是帶皮帶脂的才美味呀!! 筍乾嫩口，滷汁澆飯優秀， 這道殼以!

‖豆腐乳高山高麗菜‖ 高山高麗菜本就脆甜可口， 即使簡單爆炒也好吃～ 此道為飲食均衡而點。

‖蟹黃虎皮豆腐‖ 使用毛豆而不是青豆仁先加20分!! 內含雞蛋豆腐、吻仔魚、小蝦仁， 蟹黃羹湯給挑食小孩拌飯不錯~

‖陳釀梅汁三弄酥肉‖ 酸甜梅汁風味哇尬意， 但是肉的部位還好， 可能是用里肌肉吧， 沒有梅花肉那彈性那口感， 是我覺得小可惜之處... 酥肉還有『京都醬糖醋／金棗橙花』口味

‖麻辣香腸‖ 認真會辣!! 一片香腸，一塊蘿蔔乾， 一口接一口～(捧臉頰 還有『馬告香腸／藥膳香腸』口味 這道也推薦點。

‖ 古早味豬腳麵線 ‖ 擺盤雜亂沒有重點， 是酒香味重的麵線， 這道有點失望。
