I would definitely recommend any tourist who wish not to hunt around for food/snacks in Tainan city. Some ppl would prefer to find a good restaurant to enjoy the food and relax. Then this is the place to be. When I used to dine at this restaurant about 20 yrs ago, they serve good food and they still keep their food standard today after being recommended by Michelin. My friends came down from Taichung for the weekend and I booked a table for 3. The staffs there definitely impressed those two folks with their professional and friendly service. The way those ladies served us were very spontaneous. My friend also gave compliment to the takeaway packaging with a postcard saying “have a nice day”. They told me they hadn’t seen any other place being this thoughtful when it comes to takeaway. A nice touch. The female staff also offered us some sugar free barley tea to add to the sweet black iced tea. Tainan ppl usually have the tea sweeter than the other cities. I asked for ice cubes in the first place. But they came up with a better idea and not to make the tea too plain. My friends were very impressed with the overall dining experience at Fulou. Thumbs up to all the staffs! And thank you for being so kind to us. We will come...

A good address to savour some Taiwanese meals, all were really tasty. I just notice 2 little problems : The first is the order to put the meals on the table, the dessert arrived in the middle of the dinner and the waitress sent others meals after. When I ate the dessert (ice cream so we can’t wait too much long time) my dinner is finished after. The second problem is the noise, unfortunately it’s typically of Taiwanese restaurant : Noisy and people...

authentic Taiwanese food here served with good service. food was delicious and I loved the potato desert. nice place to eat and will definitely come back next time I'm in tainan Taiwan. be sure to order the shrimp wrap. that was really good. and if you happen to be a famous person, they have a 2 walls with famous people who came...
