Jana café — Restaurant in Taipei

We're shocked at the high reviews. very unpleasant experience all around. So many better options all around. The waitress was rude and in accommodating, she seemed to really dislike her job. We came a far way to eat here and chose it over our usual favorite cafes like The Diner because we wanted to try something new.

Their menu is limited and overpriced, the sandwhiches are small and don't even come with fries they cost 200+ alone. The food portion was tiny and took over 30 mins that we ended up having to take it to go. The place was empty but the kitchen took forever for the bread. It was just a tense time all around. To even get our food to go the lady was visibly annoyed and even though we were the one having an unpleasant and rushed experience. She even scolded us for asking for sauce to go and also for not wanting some mustard on the side. She made a huge scene and it was so uncomfortable as paying customers

The interior is tiny, we don't see any theme or effort put into it and we just don't understand the overall high rating because the shop is on a quiet alley, nothing worth revisiting. Cold customer service and ok food we can just make at...

The food was delicious, but a bit pricey. Our bill for 2 people came out to around $600, plus there was a 10% gratuity. Service was great. I appreciate the time they take in making a french bread. You will have to wait for your BREAD, but the efficient and well staff here will make sure it's not too long of a wait. Cheers!
