My first experience here was bad, the staff was rude and had problems me sitting on a table because apparently my books took too much space, it was hot weather outside and they asked me to sit outside instead, I insisted and finally was able to sit inside with my books. Their coffee is just fine, but overpriced in my opinion. What this place really sucks at is ambience.

The big windows at the front are wide open, which you might think is nice, but there's a large and busy street right outside. The whole time I was here there was nonstop noise from buses, trucks, scooters, etc. You know how buses here have those loud turn signals? Well image what it's like when there are two buses stopped outside at a red light and all you can hear is BEEEEP BEEEP BEEEP BEEEP BEEEP BEEEP along with a constant roar of traffic. Why do they even have music? Nobody...

One of the best coffee shops I have been in Taipei, both to eat and chat with friends and to work/study. The staff is very friendly and the service is really good! The drinks and food are also amazing. I highly recommend the crispy fried chicken, the iced cinnamon cappuccino, and the chocolate marshmallow toast.
