Start Curry — Restaurant in Taipei

This cozy little hole-in-the-wall is perfect for delicious Japanese-style curry rice. We tried the hamburger patty curry and stewed beef curry with a sunny-side-up egg, plus a side of fried chicken.

The hamburger patty was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The toasted cheese slice added a creamy texture and a smoky aroma—so delicious! The stewed beef chunks were lean with just a bit of fat, giving them a nutty, beefy taste. The curry sauce was mild and not too overpowering, making us want to keep eating. The sunny-side-up egg with its runny yolk mixed into the curry rice was a bite to die for—a must-try! The fried chicken on the side was super crispy, piping hot, and juicy—easily some of the best fried chicken I've ever had.

The restaurant also has a tiny 12-year-old Pomeranian dog that's incredibly adorable. If you dine here, please don't pet the dog as it gets frightened easily.

A delightful dining experience, we will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the dishes...

AMAZING CURRY! Very tasty and pretty, you can definitely see that they put effort into it! Plus, the people are super friendly! Neither spoke english but they have an english menu and they’re super happy to translate with google translator....

Better off going to other curry places. Ordered the fried chicken curry. While visually ok, the taste was lacking. It was inoffensive yet very lacking in flavour.

I'd you like japanese style curry try somewhere else.
