UKIYO — Restaurant in Taipei

A hidden cafe between two busy streets with a simple, elegant, and clean interior. The aesthetic is a calming blend of white and grey. It is a nice quiet space to work by yourself or chat with a couple other friends. There is a clean little restroom in the back of the first floor away from the main area. The entire space of both floors are chilled and airconditioned. The window view overlooks a broad parking space with some buildings and trees. A good portion of the sky is within sight as well. The view is rather boring but would not leave one feeling claustrophobic. I would describe the music selection as a mix meditative and lofi.

I stayed away from the sweeter looking desserts and opted for the custard and cheese cake both with flavors to match the aesthetic, nice and elegant. The hot dog sandwich is a mediocre sausage with a nice tangy sauce and light healthy topping of eggs, tomatoes, and cucumber between a large dense and chewy bread. As for the tea....There is a lot going on with the flavors of the tea. It is a tad light, but you will have to judge for yourself.

No, I don't drink coffee much and I found this cafe through the guidance of its owner. I would recommend this nice little cafe...

算是奇遇，第一次去完一家cafe可以打出這麼多字🤫假自助式連續2次不被尊重的内用體驗讓我決定不再光顧。

第一次去應該是店剛開不久，上樓沒人，坐好後就開始品飲咖啡，結果有阿姨上來，開始往我那邊放東西並使眼色，後來想說沒關係，可能等會她們還有其他朋友想要連著坐吧，就自己把座位主動讓出，對方邊說不用邊謝謝！後來猜測應該是老闆娘或老闆媽媽之類的（下稱A），有一大群人（當然沸沸揚揚的那種），想說塞好耳朵喝完就走好了。

昨天本來還猶豫著2間店之中選一家，看到老闆（還是老闆爸爸，下稱B）在門口招徠於是二訪，我1位點完咖啡他們叫我先上去找位置，上去剩一張2人桌，本來還有一點不好意思想說有沒有其他位置，B跟我說後面剛進來一組2位，著人搬了一張矮椅子，問我可否坐在吧枱那邊（全是高椅），坐那張我的臉就會是直接對著吧枱的橫邊⋯⋯（誰可以表演看看怎麼坐？） 自問還算蠻主動替店家想的人，所以我說坐矮的那邊他往旁邊挪了一下那2人桌，我就靠牆坐長椅算了，東西都沒辦法放的那種。

咖啡喝到一半其中一桌離開了，店員可能也覺得我可憐（？），於是問我要不要換過去，我也是有遲疑了一下，不過接受了她的邀請⋯⋯椅子都還沒暖，似曾相識的A閃身出現在我面前，說現在有一組2位的客人，可否請我坐回去那邊⋯⋯ 我想都沒有想，直接笑著說沒關係我離開好了，對方可能覺得驚訝，說不用了，但我還是帶著笑說「冇要緊」，說實在沒有帶甚麼激動的情緒，只是覺得這種待客方式真的不敢恭維，為了喝杯咖啡還要被挪幾次？（我太難了🥲）

建議店家看看有沒有覺得需要改善，訂好規則就遵守，當然如果只做一次性的生客可能是沒什麼關係？但這地區⋯⋯ 要嘛一開始就跟我說一個人的位置沒了，因為我們2人桌要留來接2位，看你要等還是外帶，起碼讓我有合理的選擇權？另外去這麼久咖啡廳，只有聽過後面的人要等前面的客人用餐完畢才能安排座位？哪有每進來一組就挪一次的道理？一個人不能内用的意思？既然是你接我進去的，我本來就有使用座位的權利？你可以限時甚麼的都沒有問題，但這樣的待客方式合理嗎？矮椅子坐吧枱那邊我也無言，覺得幽默🤷🏻‍♂️

本來以咖啡而言我是會覺得可以偶爾回訪，雖然價位也不算太親民，現在這樣店内咖啡師出杯多好都是...
