I had been to this place twice and had a very positive experience both times.
The fish and the cooking deserved a solid three stars in my book. The owner going above and beyond to accommodate special requests is what earned this place the fourth star.
In a restaurant specializing in fresh water fish cuisines where a fish is divided and then cooked with various methods with different sauces, it is not uncommon that some methods compliment the fish better than the others.
The fired fish cutlets is the best amongst the seven different methods I sampled in two visits. The steamed fish tail is also noteworthy.
The smoked chicken, which requires a pre-order, is quite tender with decent amount of smoked flavor.
If you go to this place, be mentally prepared as the dining area is quite small and seats are plastic stools.
