VEGE CREEK — Restaurant in Taoyuan City

It’s awesome to find an all vegan restaurant in TPE airport. Taiwan is a very vegetarian friendly country so it’s nice to see this reflected here. The menu has many choices, and they are all clearly pictured and labeled by spicy level. If you want more chili or seasoning, they have that at the pickup counter. You order using a kiosk that has Mandarin and English options available, and you can pay by card. I had the chili noodles with wonton and the flavor and portion size were perfect. Order the dry chilli noodles! The handpulled noodles are delicious omg! Great value and the herbal soup and little side dishes are all tasty too.

Don't order the spicy noodle soup though. Had really weird things inside like a cube of rice, fried dough sticks (really gross, tasted like cheap frier oil) and the noodles were 2 minute packet noodles..soup also tasted like cheap packet broth.

I got one spicy chilli oil tofu noodles which was really yum! The staff suggested me to add some sesame oil which did actually enhance the taste. I liked the soup and bean curd, and even the sauerkraut (or whatever the salad was called with the noodles).
