MR.BROWN Cafe — Restaurant in Toucheng Township

It was a hot sunny day outdoors. We went to Castle I and had to scan the QR to reserve for seats when there are actually available seats. So it’s just a 5 mins wait but had to do all the reservation stuff. Once inside, it was just a bit cooler than outside and saw a few people sleeping there probably lack of oxygen as what I felt as well cos of the temperature inside. The view outside is good so if you are there for food then can give it a miss. If you are there for the views, it’s a nice place. I think you may need to drive or Uber up as it’s a long way. As I had little time to spend there, I only ordered a drink....

A coffee place popular with locals & tourists as it overlooks not only the Yilan Prefecture but also gets you great view of the Pacific Ocean & the Turtle Island.

FOOD Food was generally decent. Perhaps it's a personal preference or just the heightened expectation that one associates with Mr Brown's reputation, the hazelnut latte in this case was abit 'weak' in aroma.

SERVICE The Staff somehow knew we were tourists & offered us to visit thd 2nd level if we wish to even though the area was not open

We went there for the view, and went in the coffee shop for some drinks and snacks. The drink and food just average. We ordered them because there is minimum charge per person. We went there on the weekdays, so the traffic wasn't too bad. Lots of seats in the shop. There are 2 floors for seating, and 3rd floor for viewing. We could see Ocean and museum from the roof. I'll say If you are looking for a great lookout place for viewing, this is the place. Try not to go there on the weekend, because I heard it's very busy with limited...
