KAORI Dining — Restaurant in Toufen

A fine restaurant with a group of passionate staff offers fine food, and highly recommended to go for taste. The way of presenting the idea of Terroir is sophisticated and appreciated.

While booking a table, we used inline booking platform but there were some questions about booking. The staff was being kind and careful with our requirements and promptly respond to questions.

On the day when entering for dinning, we feel relaxed and comfortable though the space is limited and served for max. 16 people. The materials are quality and careful selected. Dressing is pretty nice and perfectly matched with this season menu.

The way of their presentation is appreciated. The staff has good skills to make the fusion of French cuisine with local agricultural products in a creative way of cooking. We could ask questions about dishes, ideas of cooking, establishing this fine dinning, and any others. Very friendly and patient with customer’s needs. For this price, it is worth dining in. The taste and food presentation are above average. However, all the ingredients are very simple ones which we can easily see in normal markets. The portion of each dish is quite small. After all the dishes, I still felt hungry. 落差感大，用餐前照片文宣帶來的味覺想像遠超過當天的用餐味蕾體驗，不會回訪。和伴的用餐體驗從進餐廳前就不舒服了，不悅的點如下: 時間壓力 (1)入場時間壓力 訂位17:30，明訂保留15分鐘，17:35時就接連電話詢問，電話措辭語氣偏差，直問“你們人在哪了？是要取消嗎？”，使開車找路趕路的外地遊客滿有壓迫感。 之後我找車位，伴先進店確保餐廳位子，人沒到齊就問要不要上餐(未超過座位保留時間) (2)用餐時間壓力 上菜急又趕，用餐時服務員在桌旁盯著用餐，同時用耳機回報客人用餐情況(此舉存在感嚴重)。大概一小時多就用餐完畢，吃的有壓力，像是被監視著催促用餐。

菜單資訊混亂 訂位確認函有提供電子菜單連結，或許適逢換菜單，造成訂位時的菜單和用餐當天的菜單有所差異，用餐前卻未提醒不同之處。 (1)價位 2022/11/02再次上網確認訂位資訊頁面只分Lunch Menu 980/人和Tasting Menu 1380/人，但電子菜單上又分為Tasting Menu 980or1380/人和Experience Menu 1380or1780/人。兩者資訊有落差，沒特別註明也無餐前說明，所以原只歸因為時段差異，等結帳時看紙本明細，回頭看菜單才發現菜單上主菜菜名後面的價錢。 (2)餐茶提供與否 訂位資訊頁面上說可搭配餐酒或餐茶(2022/11/02上網檢查仍然有)，身為晚餐時段前半段用餐 且為了餐茶而來的我們，卻被現場告知沒有餐茶呵。

3.服務未標準化 (有些服務或介紹其他桌有，我們卻沒有) (1)菜單提供與介紹 無提供紙本菜單，確認主餐以口頭詢問，原以為要看菜單得自己上網找，之後從別桌的服務聽到有QR可掃來看菜單並幫忙介紹菜單 (2)餐點客製化 伴點小羔羊，有被事先告知五分熟，卻沒被告知說如果吃起來覺得太生可以幫忙回煎，也是聽到別桌的服務才知道。
