Tasty — Restaurant in Toufen

Family friendly steak house with excellent service and a generous set meal. This is not the place to come if you’re on a diet. The set meal has 7 courses including soup, salad, dessert, lemon slush and bread. I was very impressed with the service attitude and appreciated the flexibility when dealing with 11 people. The 9oz steak I ate was soft and perfectly cooked. My wife’s 10oz teriyaki steak was less to my taste (slightly tough). We’ve been a few times over the years and it’s been a consistently good experience. There are some nice touches like taking and printing photos on special occasions.

Notes: They really don’t have anything for vegetarians but will help you get vegetarian food from a nearby store if a couple of your large party are vegetarian (as in our case).

Fantastic food. The classic set offer a good variety of options for around $560. This includes 1 soup, 1 salad, 1 drink (non alcoholic if that really matters), 1 main (most of the grilled steak options are a little extra) and 1 dessert. This filled my appetite and left me very satisfied. I ordered the New York steak as a main which was good but there was one thing about it that left me to decide in only giving 4 stars and that's the 1 option for how the steak is cooked - medium well. For me,. I like my steak about rare - medium rare but this in particular didn't have the option but I never bothered about putting it any sort of request either. The service in Tasty is really good. Waiters take care every small details, you can exchange your meal if you don't like or they give a small 'gift' if anything went wrong. The food is quite good but I would expect more from the main dish. The meat quality and cooking are far from the best restaurants I tried but it is still good (but not amazing).
