Had this coffeeshop on my list for nearly two and a half years and took me a while to go here but had an excuse seeing as it's on the way back from my day trip to Shenkeng- and boy is it worth It! The store itself is architecturally the most gorgeous space. Pretty small but very clever interior design allows for a short roof mini loft and also very atmospheric outdoor seating lit with soft golden string lights by the riverfront path. The base order is a drink per person, which is totally agreeable seeing as they have 100nt espresso and different teas with free hot water refills! But the star of the show is their legendary desserts. We had the brownie a la mode with caramel sauce , and it's incredible for just 150nt. The quality and presentation blow other cafes out of the water! The brownie is warmed up and the ice cream is creamy and smooth, and pairs perfectly with the crunchy top brownie with fudgy interior sprinkled with nuts~ the chiffon cake and lemon cake all look nice too but the brownie hits the spot 😋 music and design is so lovely and although they get super busy on weekends and you'll need to wait for seats and your dessert, it's worth a trip!! The most Charming coffeeshop in Taipei for sure:D

A lovely café to spend a whole afternoon at. Its location is a bit far from downtown Taipei. I had to take the metro and then transfer to the bus to get there, however, I think it’s worth a visit. The café itself is an old house and pretty small, and it’s designed as a loft, which means the ceiling is low on one side (I’m 5’9 feet and couldn’t stand straight at all), yet it’s well-decorated in the industrial vintage style. I visited on a sunny day and the natural lights shining in were just amazing. As for food, if I didn't remember wrong, most menu options they have are either drinks or desserts. The only menu option they serve other than cakes is hamburgers (I didn’t order it so I don’t know if it’s good or not). I had a banana & peach cake with a glass of honey lemonade. The cake itself is a bit dry but it tastes pretty good with the cream on top. The staff is very kind and friendly. They say that 2019 is their 7th anniversary and gave me a postcard saying that I could write and leave it in their mailbox, and they will send for me. How sweet! Oh, and they don’t have time limitation which is great. I spent a wonderful afternoon there.

Super cute café with interesting industrial design that resembles a workshop with various tools and a garden with fairy lights along the river. Really cute facility, indeed. The odd things: it’s an establishment selling mainly coffee, but they only open in the afternoon/evening (1pm); they don’t have a very broad range of beverages (mainly pretty expensive, kinda odd coffee drinks like ginger beer and espresso for 160NT, for instance). Not a lot of variety of beers, basically no soft drinks or food. They do not have Wi-Fi so don’t even think about working from there. They also have a slightly neurotic ginger cats that runs around. They only accept cash, no cards.
