It's a good place for a group of friends to catch up. They have a private room you can reserve too.

Menu is very extensive. They have a lot of dishes besides skewers. The seafood takes about half an hour to prepare and it is fresh.

The selection of beer is decent. They have Taiwanese microbrews along with some imports. They also have rotating beers on tap. The drink prices are okay but the food is on the expensive side.

The service is attentive and kind, they are also very knowledgeable about the menu. They also gave us an iPad so we could see the photos of each menu item because we were asking how one of the fish...

I've been to the Skewers and Beer by the Jhubei HSR station several times. This location has a very similar menu. I had some dishes I've had before and some new ones. They were all delicious. 位於竹北遠百附近的第三間店 近期開幕 廢材串燒酒場 Skewers & Beer 竹北遠百店 走的是高級時尚的工業風 和另外兩間店風格不同 比較有 文青風 時尚感 裝潢多了金屬光澤的元素 重點是 餐具也都走金屬風 還印上了 #廢材 超級時尚的碗盤 裝盛食物的碗盤仍保留日式風格 有點創新 又保留了當初創店的風味 👍

覺得闆娘很厲害的地方是 每一間店的籌備都很用心 不疾不徐用心擴展 廚師與外場的員工訓練也很完善 每一間店一定保留一位資深員工帶領 確保服務品質依舊 啤酒品質保證 最重要的是 三間店的食物味道一模一樣‼️

K超愛廢材的炒泡麵 每間都必點的主食 其他串燒都是輪著點 因為都太好吃惹～ 食量又沒那麼大可以全部點一輪 所以每次都點不同的串燒 然後配著冰啤酒 爽快
