Amici — Restaurant in Zhunan Town

Nice enough decor, and the food is not bad for a Taiwanese place, but portions are woefully inadequate. Service is friendly but in no way is it intuitive as it should be. The baked pasta my daughter ordered was made spicy, even though it should be obvious that a six-year old wouldn't want that. And they didn't warn her not to touch the bowl, so she burnt herself on it. I then asked them to replace it, which they did (it took fifteen mins). Also, when we sat down in the beginning I specifically asked if we could have drinks immediately, and I repeated it twice, IN CHINESE, so that he could understand, but no, I had to remind the dude serving us that we were still waiting for our sodas. The dessert, tiramisu, was good, but WHAT a tiny portion; a little ramekin. I was expecting a lot regarding the rankingnof the restaurant. As much for my disappointment. This restaurant is at Italy what a copy is to a rolex. Italian people are known for their tasteful food and their hot and talkative temper. Here the service is done by an app, and the contact with people are limited to the maximum. The price are very high if you compare what you got in the plate. I eat my first 4 cheese pizza that is so thin that the only thing you taste is the bread. My wife tried hawaian pizza, nearly same result. idem with the chicken which taste water. So because there are no restaurants around it might work. but one day... Don’t expect to enjoy your meal here, even the place itself looks beautiful. Honestly i felt more italian food when i ate...

If you've had real Italian food, then you'll realize that this place is alright. It's the best that you will get in Zhunan, but not great. It's more expensive than most other restaurants in the area and gives you OK food. Nothing I had there tasted bad, but it wasn't anything that I thought was fantastic. The atmosphere is nice and pretty chic. The service is good and they are prompt with most things.

What I've had there: fried onion rings, chicken pizza, four cheese pizza, spicy sausage pizza (I can't remember the exact name of it, maybe Diavola), and a couple types of spaghetti.
