Amazing little restaurant on the outskirts of Arusha. Absolutely authentic Italian dishes. If you want to eat Italian don't go anywhere else. They only serve the REAL thing here, no room for chicken Alfredo and other Italian-american recipes which nothing have to do with Italy. The spaghetti with shrimps and lasagna just taste like home. We had a beautiful focaccia bread with cherry tomatoes and basil and a delicious parmigiana di melanzane for starter. The tiramisu is something to die for. We accidentally came across this little Italian restaurant on a Friday evening… what a luck! They have an amazing Italian aperitivo on Fridays! Every bottle of wine or every two cocktails came with a huge complimentary aperitivo platter: potato croquettes, rice balls, battered veggies and meatballs. All super yummy. We were a group of friends on our girls night out and decided to stay for dinner: all the dishes were incredibly tasty: lasagna, pasta siciliana, pizza, parmigiana di melanzane, home made tiramisu… an unexpected taste of Italy in Arusha. We have been to Rocco's Kitchen The Boma foir times in the last 2 months and it's always been great. The place is supernice, a small bar on the front leads to a shady courtyard with trees, flowers and thatched roofs. A great place to chill with friends and family. Food is high quality and really Italian, the only real Italian in Arusha. During our 4 visits I had the chance to try their amazing bruschetta, pizza, lasagna, spaghetti with shrimps, eggplant parmigiana and tiramisu, all delicious.
