Lemon Restaurant — Restaurant in Unguja

We had a wonderful evening at Lemon Restaurant. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, but it's just a minute away from the beach. Because of its location, it's not overrun by tourists, and you can enjoy local food at a very fair price.

The food was incredibly delicious—we had fresh coconuts and squid with fries as a starter. There was a very diverse selection of dishes, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed, and the cocktails were also excellent.

The service was fantastic, and the seating was very comfortable in a charming atmosphere. For all this, we paid comparatively little. Absolutely fair prices!

We went on a full moon night, there was a power outage, the place was almost closed, when we entered we asked if we could sit down to eat, they said of course we could, from then on everything was magical, a Restaurant with our own lighting, with our own music , and a fresh and unique food (seafood), the guys who work the restaurant have put their soul and a lot of work, it is worth supporting them because it is the most beautiful, genuine, and without much fanfare Restaurant in Eastern...

In search for a local restaurant near our Bungalow in Bwejuu we found the "Lemon Restaurant", because they offer traditional "Ugali" (some Kind of soft, greasy bread Made Out of corn flower) - very delicious and highly recommended! The portions were big, unfortantely we weren't able to eat everything. We had fried Calamari and Fish in Curry coconut sauce from the menu, super yummy! You could easily miss out on this hidden Jewel, since it's not located directly...
