Pawsitive Animal Hospital & Pet Shop — Local services in Unguja

I had 2 cats and one unfortunatelly passed away at another clinic. Later Leo (my male cat) started showing signs of UTI and I found out about Pawsitive hospital through a friend of mine. They were all super helpful and very professional and responsive. I have never seen someone taking such a great care for animals and their owners. They updated me frequently, running tests to confirm diagnosis, they supplied me with proper diet food and were available for all my questions as a worried cat mama. I can say they have proper equipment like any professional clinic in developed countries. Leo was also diagnosed with stress cystitis and they did everything possible to calm him down and make him feel comfortable... even when that ment letting him stay in one of the examination rooms over the night because he was crying too much in the places where other animals were kept for their stay and treatment. They were checking up on me over the phone when Leo was reliesed home and showed great care.

As someone who is a long time pet owner I have never seen such professionalism and care and I have delt with vets all over the world. Their clinic is well equipped and they have a nice shop with great food choice. Romina (the owner) is the sweetest lady who has a huge heart for animals and you can see that all of her staff is very well educated and they do their job with passion for animals.

I highly reccomend them and I know I am a happier pet owner since I know we have such an amazing hospital...

We had a little kitten hanging out around our place, really cute one and she started staying with us during the day. We started feeding and looking after her. After some days, one day we found her in our storage. She was hiding there looking very shaky and she was attacked and bitten by another cat. That’s how I visited Pawsitive Animal Clinic. Our little kitten stayed at the clinic for 4 days and they figured out she had pneumonia, her tummy was dilated and had bones. So the bites of another cat was not so important anymore. Eventually after spending 4 days in the clinic, the little kitten is doing so much better , has energy and eating by herself. I don’t think her survival would be possible in any other clinic. The Pawsitive Animal Hospital in Bwejuu is absolutely amazing! The team there is so helpful, kind, and caring and I was so thankful for all of their support. I knew my cat was in the best care and could trust them as they were very knowledgable and open with communication. The people there truly care about animals and are always doing what is best. They helped take care of my own cat for many days when he was sick and through their care, he was able to make great progress. While I was visiting my own cat, I saw them as they cared for many other animals with much love and passion. Not only that but when it was time for me to return home to America with my cat, they helped me get all of the correct paperwork and things in order for him to return.
