Ang Sila Seafood — Restaurant in Bang Kaeo Town Municipality

I visited อ่างศิลา-บางนา with my family on the father day. The restaurant is located on Bangna trad road, near the exit to Chonburi. The restaurant is spacious and has a lot of parking space. The staff were friendly and attentive.

The restaurant specializes in seafood dishes, using fresh and quality ingredients. We ordered some of their signature dishes, such as ปลากระพงทอดน้ำปลา (fried sea bass with fish sauce), กรรเชียงปู (crab with curry powder), and ข้าวผัดปู (fried rice with crab). The portions were generous and the flavors were delicious. The fish was crispy and tender, the crab was meaty and spicy, and the rice was fragrant and fluffy. We also enjoyed their dessert, ขนมถ้วย (coconut pudding), which was sweet and rich.

The only downside was that the restaurant was very noisy and crowded. We had to wait for a long time to get a table and to get our food. The หอยจ้อ (mussels) dish was disappointing, as it had too much chestnuts and less crab meat. I would recommend making a reservation in advance, especially on weekends or holidays.

Overall, I had a good experience at อ่างศิลา-บางนา. The seafood was fresh and very tasty, and the prices were reasonable. It is a good place for family get-togethers or celebrations. I would give it a rating of 4...

Actually I wanted to rate it as zero star because of bad service, not professional one, expensive prices compared to other restaurants in the similar price range, and their dishes were filled with MSG such as fish cakes, they served with small pieces, looked terrible, just like cheap street fish cake, worse than some quality street fish cakes indeed, tasted full of MSG, and squids stirred fried with chilli paste, they served small qualities of food considering the prices of food I ate in many restaurants in Thailand. When customer complained about poor quality of dishes, the owner didn't care about a complaint at all,they just tried to get money and sell that poor quality food/dishes, she didn't even say apology, worse than that they said " as far as the food wasn't in medium cooked, it can be eaten,so it was ok to eat!!!" I have been to almost hundred well known restaurants and I know what quality food was, and what bad quality dishes​ were which weren't...

Today is sunday,it is my first time at this restaurent . My sister recomended us to take our family to join lunch here. This place start from 1994. The menu book is telling us how old of this. When we walk inside it is like we walk into the house of Thai old style. There was some cooking for menu of the day. Present in the front of the restaurent these look like home made food . The waiter and waitress quite senior and very polite. The food mostly seafoods dilicious and there are many kinds. It did not take too long to get the order.
