Kamakura Udon — Restaurant in Bang Khanun Subdistrict Administrative Organization

This eatery has competition from many other places. We visited around 3pm and were the only customers. The menu is extensive and seemingly not so badly priced for the items listed. The unfortunate thing is that the food is not overly tasty. Indeed, one could say rather bland.

It was noticeable that the udon was rather thin. More like a thick pasta rather than traditional udon. Even the wasabi wasn't what should be expected - no 'bite'. The tempura prawns (ebi) were passable, however even the dip for them was insipid.

Service was fine and with a smile. I know I write with a smile a lot on reviews. This is because smiles go much further than the usually bored looking staff that can be found in many places.

As this eatery is in a 'high end' shopping centre, the usual clean bathrooms are available, as well as a reasonably good sized ...

Great selections of Sushi, Udon, rice bowl, and seafood special seasonal sets. The raw materials are good quality and real fresh. Udon tastes good but the noodle itself is a bit too soft, slightly overcooked. However, the beef curry udon is amazingly thick and tasty. Sushi is good.

The price is considered cheap with the location on G floor and the raw materials...
