Wife and I came to the restaurant Wednesday afternoon around 14:20 We were the only customers there, so we could choose a table ourself.
I wanted to try one of their beef steaks, but it was difficult to choose which one from the menu, because they only mentioned some very big and heavy ones.
At my request, the waiter showed me lists of sizes of the different types of beef steaks they could provide. All the small and medium sizes were gone, so I ordered the biggest Black Angus Ribeye they had (320gr), for us to share.
We got one bottle of water and the most expensive Thai beer I’ve ever had. But I only found out when we got the bill. It was an Thongpradit IPA 6.9% 490ml from Chiang Mai. The price was 302.40 THB including 5% service fee and 7% Vat.
When we waited for our food, we had tree small pieces of bread and only one very small lump of butter to share. It was quickly gone, so I called the waiter, and gave her the empty plates and expected her to bring some more, but it never came.
Our food arrived on our table. The Ribeye was sliced in stripes, and cooked to perfection. We also got a very small portion of butter-garlic roasted potatoes, a very small amount of green salat, two very small cups of sauce and our special ordered Parma Rocet salat.
I don´t know why, but they didn´t provide us with salt and pepper before I asked for it.? Most people want salt and pepper with beef steaks.
After our meal, the waiter didn´t ask if we wanted anything else like dessert or coffee, so we called the waiter and ordered one cappuccino and a double espresso.
The coffee arrived without sugar and coffee spoons, so we had to ask for that as well. The waiter gave us only one small pack of sugar, so I had to ask for more.
Later we got the bill. 2,695.28 THB total including 5% service fee and 7% Vat. I paid the waiter, and got my change back, but no receipt.?
I give the restaurant 3 stars over all. The food 4 stars, not 5 because of small servings despite the high price. Service only 1 star because of the lack of service. Atmosphere only 2 stars because of the total experience.
We might give the restaurant another visit at a later date, and try something else from the menu. I hope the service will be...
Read moreReopened after renovation. What can I say? Why to renovate for so much money and not to improve your cuisine story? They spent a lot of money for renovation, but will not see that money again. The seats and benches are hard and uncomfortable and the interior is too white. You feel cold inside and the Air con makes you feel cold even more. Before it was more dark and intimate, simple a good place to date privately.
The great carrott soup disappeared from the menu and the lemon juice is too sweet and too sour on the lemon side. But the ravioli with the beef cheak was great.
Pink Tender was a hidden pearl, but now, it's just another Farang restaurant. Opposite you'll find a huge Thai restaurant. Always...
Read moreI came here for me and my fathers birthday with our family of 5 and was not disappointed! Food was amazing, we ordered the Ribeye Striploin (I am editing this 1 year later - I mean the ribeye; there is no such thing as a ‘ribeye striploin’ haha) (and it was delicious, meat was tender and delicious although I wish it was a little more seasoned, we also got the fish burger (which was scrumptious) Mac and Cheese was not bad nor amazing, mashed potatoes were creamy although I wish the size was a little bigger since it was a bit pricey.
But the atmosphere was great, 2 men singing and playing instruments at the front, with some classic songs! (Country Roads!) Would recommend this restaurant if you are...
