Great food as always, pretty bad service mind. I've been a regular customer for over a year of this place, always tell people how great the Pho here is. Today I went for lunch, everything were fine until getting the check. I chose to pay via scanning QR code through SCB mobile application. However, SCB application had an issue and took a while to process, I even thought it didn't go through and mentioned to the waiter that I would pay cash instead. However, the payment was successfully went through but it didn't produce a regular payment slip like it should. I told the waiter about the situation and willingly showed my personal bank account transaction on the application (not a picture) that indicating the payment already been transferred to "the name of the owner with the correct 4 digits of the receiver's bank account". The waiter insisted that I must show the regular payment slip and made that weird gesture. I obviously can't generate the payment slip. I offered my phone number because she acted very obviously that she doesn't believe my transaction on the application. I even asked that isn't this your boss's name and his account showing on the very transaction ? She said "yea, but we don't know if the payment went through" even the bank application deducted the money from my account and transferred to the right receiver showing on the transaction. I didn't want to cause a scene nor trying to argue I even said it's really not my fault nor my intention but they ignored me. Anyway, I left the restaurant that I like very much feeling accused of the attempt to cheat them. I just wish they knew how to deal with such delicate issue better without passively suggesting that the customer lied.

Edited rating as very much appreciated the...

월남국수 좋아하는 분들에게는 꼭 추천합니다. 방콕에 있는 월남국수는 거의 다 먹어봤는데 여기가 최고네요

만약 미국식 pho가 그리운 분이라면 꼭 여기로!!!

What a wonderful place♥

Yummy, clean, attentive and price is just right.

I usually dont tip in Thailand (and this place has already charged me 10% service fee in the bill) but I left some tip to staff as she was so nice.

My first Pho in my life was in the united states and that makes me kinda picky because pho in the states is little bit different than anywhere. This place gave me homesick to the states as food was so good and satisfied for me.

Quality of beef is amazing and I nomally dont eat meatball cus it could have some upnomal smell but this soup was perfect. No smell, clean taste but still yummy enough. Fried or grilled pork was good and peanut sauce of freah shrimp roll is insanely good.

White coffee is good and caramel of pudding is just perfect.

I dont know why I found this place now. I saw promotion ad on instagram and now they provide free pho bo with meatball when ordering main menu.(I added brisket and shank, too)

Highly recommened and will absolutely come back soon.

LOVE THEM ALL♥

P.s. 1 thing about location If needed to go back to sukhumvit area by taxi it needed to make really long u-turn due to the nature of the roads in this...

Pho Aroi is, without a doubt, the best place to enjoy authentic pho in Bangkok. If you’re craving a bowl of rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles, this spot delivers every time. The owner, Tony, is a Vietnamese-American who brings his expertise and passion for pho straight to your table, ensuring every bowl is made to perfection.

The menu is simple yet focused, allowing the quality of each ingredient to shine. The broth is deeply aromatic, simmered to achieve a balance of flavors that’s both hearty and comforting. The noodles are fresh, and the toppings—whether it’s tender slices of beef, fresh herbs, or bean sprouts—are always served in generous portions.

What sets Pho Aroi apart isn’t just the food, though. Tony’s warm and welcoming presence adds to the experience. He takes the time to greet his customers and ensures everyone feels at home. It’s clear he’s passionate about bringing the authentic taste of Vietnamese cuisine to Bangkok, and it shows in every bite.

Whether you’re a pho enthusiast or a first-timer, Pho Aroi is a must-visit. It’s the perfect spot to satisfy your cravings and enjoy a true taste of Vietnam right in the heart of the city. Trust me—you’ll be planning your next visit before you’ve even...

Hidden gem it is! My wife found Pho Aroi just a week before we leave Thailand and every single day I have to drop by to eat & satisfy the thirst for truly authentic Vietnamese food. I have tried many Vietnamese restaurant here in Thailand but I would say this is the best just far, at least for the 2 dishes that I order always. 1. Pho: the quality is ticked for the soup, the meat & the noodle. This is Southen style Pho which is a little different vs Northen style Pho so I guess it is up to your preference. 2. Banh Mi: simply the best in my view as a Vietnamese. Daily freshly baked, crispy outside & soft inside, the size is also perfect for a clean bite! It is authentic Vietnamese baguette which is very hard to find overseas. I hope they would sell the bbq pork Banh Mi in future. The drip-coffee is also a must, for me it is a perfect combo with any Vietnamese food. Ice version is more suitable for hot weather like Bangkok. Lastly, Tony - the owner is very friendly and he really knows his food & customers. The staffs are very nice too, one day they let me in & did my order eventhough I was 30 min earlier than Opening hour.
