I've been a loyal customer at Pla Yoo Yen for more than a decade. This spacious restaurant, located in the Ratchaphruek area, offers a variety of cuisines, from traditional Thai to Thai-style Western and Japanese food. As such, it is an ideal spot for family outings as there's a dish for everyone's taste.

While the food ranges from average to good, depending on what you order, their signature dish, Pla Yoo Yen (fried snakehead fish with herbs), is an excellent choice to start with. Other commendable dishes include Tod Man Kung (shrimp cake), among others.

The system here is well organized, ensuring dishes are served promptly once ordered. Their consistent quality control means that you can expect a similar taste experience with each visit. The staff, although not super service-minded, are generally helpful. For the quality of the food and experience, the prices are quite reasonable.

However, one persistent issue that detracts from the overall experience is the parking situation, which is managed by what seems to be a group of rather bothersome individuals. They offer little assistance in parking your vehicle, yet are always quick to request tips when you're leaving. On occasion, they've even left before I've completely exited the parking lot after receiving their tip. Amazing food on all dishes! Didn’t expect them to be tasty on every single dishes even for the fried pork knuckle (German style) is very tender. Tom yum soup is way too spicy despite I had let them know to make it ‘less spicy’. The portion is generous and value for money

Tl;dr only been to karaoke with the family but we have table service and help with it. Always have good service.

Been a few times for occasions normally with today being no exception. My father's 84th birthday and he LOVES karaoke. Lots of songs he knows and enjoys, including some Chinese ones (as I found out). The menu is extensive and set menus are good for ease with lots of people (20+ of us today).
