Ruengrit Seafood — Restaurant in Bangkok

If you're visiting the Bang Khun Thian area, you must check out Ruangrit Seafood. The seafood here is incredibly fresh, and if I could, I'd order everything on the menu! My top pick is the steamed sea crab, available in two types: roe crab and meat crab (the roe crab is especially delicious, a must-try!). The oysters are also fresh and priced at THB 65 each, which is almost half of what you'd pay in a mall, and they're much larger in size. Another favorite of mine is the squid steamed with lime—spicy and full of flavor!

As for the restaurant's atmosphere, it’s quite simple and unassuming, not the type of place you'd go to for a photo-op. It’s all about enjoying great food. They have both regular seating and an air-conditioned section. Just note that they only accept cash—no...

Delicious. The fried shrimp on a stick is REALLY good. Shrimps are very fresh. Try with the small portion first, then as you enjoy it, order small portion one at a time. Good with a cold beer. The Fresh oysters are also good. Didn't order the big individual ones as I don't like them. The small local ones are more juicier, sweet, and plump. Chefs don't cook food too salty like some other nearby shops.

Order the Chinese tea instead of other drinks. It will wash down the greasiness down better.

This restaurant is becoming my family's favorite. Their signature dIsh - Pu phad phong kahri is so good that my late grandmother visited my aunt in her dream to buy this dish and make a merit to her in heaven. We go there every year and see how they decorate the place from regular restaurant into the lovely place with beautiful corners for customers in every ages but the foods taste never changed. Excellent service and delicious seafood. Definitely worth your long trip...
