We have eaten there twice on 2 separate trips to Phuket and each time it was excellent. Stir Fried Melinjo Leaves with Egg: This dish, whilst stir-fried, is very light and smoky/savoury and is a favourite. Don't expect a flavour explosion but instead this is a delicate dish that is perfect as an accompaniment to other dishes and resetting your taste buds after something spicy.
Stir Fried Whole Squid in Black Ink: The squid was very tender and the sauce had a light salty/tangy taste. This was good without being outstanding.
Deep Fried Prawn Cakes: Nice, light and tasty but it left me wanting a bit more in terms of flavour. Still, we ordered it on both times we visited.
Sea Grape Salad: This was a standout for me, however not so much for my wife. Punchy, brine-y/saltiness that went perfectly with the accompanying bowl that contained small pieces of fish, onions, chilli and sauce. I was happy to devour this by myself. It went amazingly with the fried rice.
Spicy Stuffed Mackerel: A Mackerel that is stuffed with a red curry fish paste on the inside. The fish paste blends in with the fish. Similar to the Malaysian Otak Otak but with more fish flavour. If you are a big fan of Mackerel (as I am) then this is for you. Think of it as a fishy fish cake (if that makes sense?!)
Fried Pork Belly with Kaffir Lime leaves: Another dish that we have ordered each time we have visited. The small fried pork pieces are nice but it is the fried kaffir lime leaves that bring it to the next level, and are excellent for snacking on.
Rock Oyster salad with shrimp paste: Served in a pink sauce, this spicy dish is made with shrimp paste, lime, chillies and shallots. Whilst delicious, for me, the very spicy sauce overpowered the delicate brine-y oyster flavour. Still, I enjoyed it, but warning, it is HOT!
Mor Moo Dong Signature Fried Rice: Has a light soya sauce-like saltiness to the flavour. It is nice but not outstanding and is a touch oily for our tastes.
You can also order fruit shakes and drinks, although that seems to be outsourced as the bill for that comes separately.
Lastly, you should know before visiting, that you will be sitting in outdoor huts on top of what amounts to a swamp (in fact my wife and I call this place the "swamp restaurant")!. There is no odour, however, creatures abound! We saw small lizards (geckos) right next to us, and on our 2nd visit, there was a massive Asian Hornet on the roof of our hut. My wife is highly squeemish but we would still come back...the food and experience...

For sure, it did not disappoint me. Most of the dishes are exciting, interesting and full of flavours. I am not sure if this is considered authentic Thai food, but it doesn't matter to me. What matters at the end is a satisfying meal
Grilled stuffed mackerel. I give this 6 🌟! Never had this in my life before, the meat is actually removed from the fish and make into some kind of fish paste and stuffed back into the fish!. Amazingly the fish skin is still on at some parts. The paste is akin to traditional Thai fish cake paste. Lovely, tasty and refreshing idea.
Sea grapes. Heard of this but never tested this before. Briny sweet little sacs of juices that pops in your mouth. It's so fresh, paired with a side of calamari and fish salad. Good harmony of flavours.
The prawn soup, something like Tom yum but its not. Its called kaeng som. The spiciness hits the roof for me, but the taste is so good. You will want more but the spiciness is holding you back.
Black squid ink. This is so fresh, seafood sweetness in this fish. Stir fried to a tenderness that just melts in your mouth.
The vegetables is normal fare.
The morning glory is ok, I expected it to be more robust with preserved prawn taste. Unfortunately it's lacking the oomph. No photos for this.
Deep fried fish belly strips that we had for beer. However, I concluded that this is more likely to be fish intestine. No photo taken as well.
Overall, a very pleasant meal exciting and refreshing from normal Thai food you find everywhere else in...

Great local restaurant for one who love local food.
I would recommend some of my favorite menus - the first and the most amazing menu is the stuffed mackerel (ปลายัดไส้ / Pla-Yud-Sai ) which is really amaze me when the fried fish presented by the waitress is in perfect condition - with fins, tails, head and skin but when you cut it, you will found no bone, no meat, no internal organs but only the special fish paste inside. It's look like the this fish paste wear the mackerel suit! Taste also nice with slightly spicy. Don't miss this menu!
The next one is salty roasted pork belly (หมูคั่วเกลือ / Moo Kua Kleia) which is another popular menu here. The balance of salty and sweet taste mixed well into the pork belly and make them juicy enough to keep you taste it unstoppable.
The 3rd menu is Tom Som Lam Peng (ต้มส้มลำเพ็ง / Thom Som Lam Peng) - a special veggie soup that made of the local vegetable where the chef will pick the young leaves of Sam Peng tree to cook in the soup of baby shrimp. The sour taste from Sam Peng leaves get along with the salty taste of soup quite well.
The last menu to suggest (due to it reach my max capacity of stomach) is the sea grapes salad (ยำสาหร่ายพวงองุ่น / Yum Sa Rai Puang A-ngoon). It's look weird but very delicious! It served separately between the sea grapes and the salad sauce because the sea grapes is quite sensitive to the acidic taste from lemon and will eventually lost it's beautiful shape and taste. So, what to do is just mix together and eat finish it right away!
The only difficult thing is that the restaurant location is quite deep at the end of...
