Sansuko Bungalow — Hotel in Wichit

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Sansuko twice when Bobbi was the owner. We booked with Bobbi to stay for our third visit in January. Unfortunately, Bobbi contacted us to say that she had sold the business and that the new owners would be running Sansuko by the time of our stay. Bobbi assured us that the new owners would be running the business exactly the same. We decided to go ahead with the booking as friends of ours, who we met at Sansuko on our first visit, had booked to stay at the same time as us and we were really looking forward to seeing them.||||We then read a review on Tripadvisor which stated that the free shuttle service was limited and the bar was closed by 2030. Concerned at what I had read I immediately emailed the new owners . I received this reply "I confirm your reservation as booked with Bobbi.||I assure you that during your stay all the services offered by sansuko will be active. in August and September, we have very little staff, as you have already read on tripadvisor and for this reason we had to reduce the shuttle service.||from November all shuttle bar services and all kinds of support will be restored.||I also confirm that the payment has been received including the transfer from the airport.||I'm sure you'll still feel good in Sansuko. the New staff is kind and helpful. they will be happy to satisfy your every need.||Greetings||Giovanni and Tukta" This was a lie. After a long flight we decided to go the the bar for a drink before unpacking. I asked for a white wine and was told they do not have any wine so said I would have a gin & tonic, which they had but NO ICE! Later in the day I was reading the folder left on the bedside table in our bungalow and was delighted to see a long list of cocktails advertised for sale in the bar. Great I love cocktails. However, it was not to be. I took the list to the bar with me, anticipating what was to come. I asked for a Pina Colada and the young Thai girl shook her head. Oh dear. I pointed to the list and said "any" to my dismay she shook her head. Not one cocktail available so why advertise them?! ||||Our friends', who had checked in a few days' before us, arrived back from the beach and told us that they were told there would be no shuttle service. They had to argue with the new owner, who reluctantly agreed to drop them at the beach at 11 AM and pick them up at 5 PM. She agreed to drop them at a local restaurant in the evenings as long as it was before 7.30 but would not agree to pick them up again. Obviously we were not happy with this limited service, as we were assured that the shuttle service would be fully operational by November. ||||To top it all the bar was closed even before we went out for our evening meal at 7.30! Again not what we were promised. One of the attractions of staying at Sansuko was the great evenings spent in the bar socializing with Bobbi and the other guests. ||||What a difference from the first-class hospitality provided by Bobbi. To be honest we all felt like we were in the way. We, along with our friends', made the decision to move to a hotel in Patong near the beach and local restaurants and bars. We stayed at Sansuko for 3 nights out of the 16 we had booked. ||||Sadly Sansuko is not what it was and I would avoid staying here, unless all you want is a quiet location and can put up with the unfriendly owner, who didn't even have the courtesy to say goodbye to us...

We arrived here after we’ve been 5 days in another location in Krabi with some worries due to mixed reviews that we’ve read. Mystery solved: there are new european managers since July 2019, so the oldest reviews can be ignored. ||||Everything surprised us in the most positive way. Stephanie & Bruce did everything to make this stage of our holiday a pleasant experience for us. They drove us with their car to the beach, booked us trips to islands with the best providers (really useful ‘cause we saw there are huge differences) They gave us tips for everything and that saved us from disappointments. ||||About location and accommodation:||Everything works and is clean. No unpleasant smells in room. The pool is clean, our kid enjoyed it while we enjoyed the beautiful garden. Breakfast is great, drinks are good and reasonable priced (almost like in supermarkets in Krabi) The bed was super comfortable. We asked if we can have a diner once in the garden and they have a deal with some restaurants. In 20 minutes the food was delivered, tasty and unbelievable cheap. ||||We spent the new years eve there and we could join a party at a beach-bar booked by the villa’s management which was great. We had a lovely time next to the other tourists which stayed in the same location and chosen to participate.||||Stephanie and Bruce were always there for all the guests with a level of hospitality that I never saw in the last 10 years. I have stayed at this property before under the Management of Bobbi and Steve several years ago and had the most fantastic stays at Sansuko as Bobbi and Steve were amazing hosts, bobbi and steve have now returned to UK but I have found memories of this lovely relaxing property lovely little bungalows built around a lovely pool total relaxation and decided to return and to see if had changed||I stayed in November with my partner what can I say just absolutely fantastic continuing the great work started by Bobbi and Steve, The new owners Stefania and Bruce are a lovely couple very professional excellent hosts nothing is to much trouble for their guests, full of lovely smiles great information on Tours and local area, they are superb hosts. The rooms have been recently renovated and are lovely and comfortable with every amenity and spotlessly clean each morning you can have breakfast at the little restaurant on site and they offer drinks service also everything is on hand at Sansuko, it offers a 6 star service great staff friendly and efficient service in a lovely relaxed atmosphere it’s a perfect place to relax and unwind ||I cant wait to return great atmosphere lovely rooms delicious breakfast and great tour information and good prices on tours congratulations to Stafania and Bruce you are doing a fantastic job brilliant hosts I can highly recommend Sansuko to anyone and cannot...
