Have you been with a group of friends and couldn’t decide what to eat cause everyone wants something different? Well Ploen Restaurant might be the place you all want to go. It’s got Western, Chinese and of course Thai. But Thai food might not be Ploen’s forté. My wife had the ห่อหมกทะเล which is coconut red curry custard with mixed seafood. It’s a popular Thai dish but the Ploen missed the mark in it. We also had seafood tom yum which was good as well as the morning glory cause my wife loves vegetables. I had the beef stew pot pie which I liked. But it was a small portion thought I can’t complain cause it was only 125THB Would I go back? Probably, because I want to check out Ploen’s Café. It’s a big restaurant with many sections so great for weddings and conventions just like they advertise.

Large space, cute deco, kind management (to the customers), fast and efficient service, super large menu with Bangkok people test of food (base sweet) I will bring my family here again, they will love it for sure. We really appreciated with all the staffs here, they never let our glass empty, even its our own alcoholic beverage (left over from the wedding in their venue, they are kind enough to let us continue them later on in the restaurant area) and never missed any requests we asked. By the way, should you dim the light in Karaoke room? I kind of see every movement inside the room of strangers though.🧐

Great place to eat with group especially with family and friends! Wide variety of food stuffs and great taste including spicy dishes😋. Options for open restaurant as well as close small rooms for private groups to celebrate in privacy. Good food and nice staff. Ambience is also good with sufficient lighting. Good location as well as connectivity and sufficient parking space. Enjoy your time and food there !!!

Pros: - Great variety of dishes. - Most dish we tried were good. Some were great. I loved their Australian beef sirloin steak (เนื้อสันนอกออสเตรเลียย่างแจ่วกระทะร้อน). - Modern and clean atmosphere. Cons: - Parking can be a bit in convenient. (Their on-site parking lot fills up easily, but they do have another one a few hundred meters away with shuttles to and from the restaurant.) - Too few restroom stalls.

ร้านอาหารเพลินบนถนนวิภาวดีรังสิต เป็นร้านอาหารเก่าแก่ที่กินมาตั้งแต่เด็ก กลับมากินอีกครั้ง อาหารยังคงอร่อยมากเหมือนเดิม โดยเฉพาะอาหารทะเลที่สดมาก อร่อยมาก โดยไม่ต้องเดินทางไปกินถึงริมทะเลจริงๆ อาหารรสชาติเป็นแนวอาหารไทยผสมอาหารจีน จัดจ้านและกลมกล่อมทุกจาน เริ่มที่จานแรก แซลมอนพรีเมี่ยมซาซิมิ 1/2 กก. กินกับน้ำจิ้มยำแซ่บ แซลมอนสดมาก อร่อยมาก เนื้อแน่นเด้ง จุ่มในน้ำจิ้มยำแซ่บทำให้ไม่เลี่ยนเลย กินคนเดียวประมาณ 3 ใน 4 ของจานนี้ ออส่วน ของร้านนี้คือดีงามมาก หอยนางรมตัวโตและสดมาก ผัดกับแป้งและไข่ที่รสชาติพอดีมากๆ ไม่ต้องใส่ซอสพริกก็ยังอร่อยเลย แป๊ะซะแกงส้มปลากระพงนึ่ง เมนูนี้ถูกใจมาก เป็นแกงส้มที่สามารถซดเป็นน้ำแกงได้ รสชาติกลมกล่อมกำลังดี ไม่ได้เผ็ดจัดหรือเปรี้ยวบ้าระห่ำเหมือนแกงส้มสมัยนี้ชอบเป็นกัน ปลากระพงนึ่งซีอิ๊ว เนื้อปลาสดเหนียวนุ่ม น้ำซีอิ๊วที่ราดมาเค็มนำหวานเล็กน้อยกำลังดี โดยรวมแล้วอร่อยมาก กระเพาะปลาผัดแห้ง จานนี้ก็อร่อย กระเพาะปลาเป็นชิ้นใหญ่ๆ ผัดได้รสชาติเหมือนกินที่ภัตตาคารอาหารจีน ตบท้ายด้วยขนมหวาน 2 อย่าง กล้วยหอมทอด กล้วยหอมแบบสุกแล้วเอามาชุบแป้งทอดเลยอร่อยมากราดด้วยเมเปิ้ลไซรัป ตอนแรกว่าจะกินชิ้นเดียว สุดท้ายหยุดไม่ได้ต้องกินเลย 3 ชิ้น แปะก๊วยตุ๋นมะพร้าวอ่อน เป็นแปะก๊วยต้มในน้ำมะพร้าวอุ่นๆที่ขูดเอาเนื้อมะพร้าวออกมาแล้ว ก็อร่อยไปอีกแบบ

อาหารรสชาติใช้ได้ บริการรวดเร็วดี มีที่จอดรถเยอะ ที่นั่งเยอะ สะดวกสบาย แต่ไม่มีอะไรน่าจดจำเป็นพิเศษ ถ้าผ่านมาแถวนี้แล้วอยากหาที่แวะกินข้าว ก็ถือว่าโอเค แต่ไม่ถึงขั้นต้องตั้งใจมากิน บรรยากาศร้านไม่ค่อยมีสไตล์ (เลือกใช้แสงไฟสีส้ม ที่ทำให้ร้านมืดเกินไป) เมนูหลากหลาย มีทั้งอาหารไทย อาหารฝรั่ง และอาหารญี่ปุ่น (นิดหน่อย) แต่รสชาติกลางๆ จุดเด่นคงเป็นที่พนักงานขยันขันแข็งน่าประทับใจ ราคาอาหารจานเดียวอยู่ที่ประมาณ 100 - 200 บาท ส่วนกับข้าวจานละ 200 - 300 บาท ++ สั่งหมี่ผัดกระเฉด (120 บาท) มา กุ้งสดตัวโตอร่อยดี (มีแค่ตัวเดียว แต่รับได้ เพราะก็ตามราคา) ให้เส้นเยอะดี แต่ผักแฉะไปหน่อย มีความน่าสนใจตรงที่ใส่กระเทียมโทนมาด้วย ก็ช่วยตัดกับความเลี่ยนของมันกุ้งได้ดี ส่วนโกโก้เย็น คุณภาพโกโก้ใช้ได้ แต่ชงมาแบบลวกๆ เลยมีก้อนผงโกโก้นอนก้นเยอะพอสมควร และหวานมาก ที่จริงด้วยคุณภาพโกโก้ประมาณนี้ ชงหวานน้อยกว่านี้ก็อร่อยได้ สรุปคือ ชื่นชมในการบริการ แต่ควรปรับปรุงคุณภาพอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม โดยใส่ใจในการปรุงมากขึ้น เป็นประสบการณ์ครั้งแรกที่ไม่แย่ แต่ไม่ทำให้รู้สึกอยากกลับมากินซ้ำ
