Ploen Restaurant — Restaurant in Chatuchak Subdistrict

The food is was really amazing, the salmon is really BIG and THICK and the price was reasonable, but i think the soy sauce/sashimi sauce was a little bit too salty in my opinion. Kaengsom was probably my favorite dish, the flavor is intense and I love that! The shrimps texture are very soft but also firm at the same time. The water chestnut in coconut milk was also REALLY good!!!! It's one of the best water chestnut in coconut milk I've ever had. The cheese cake was really soft and delicious, but I think the taste of the cake taste more like butter cake and not cheese but overall it's an amazing cheesecake. I ordered the one with strawberry syrup and the syrup was SO GOOD!!!! The atmosphere was also calm and relaxing, I love how you decorate it. The service was absolute a S tier, I'd definitely recommend to come at this place if you visit Thailand! It's really great to have dinner here with your families and relatives. Overall this restaurant is a solid 9.5/10

Have you been with a group of friends and couldn’t decide what to eat cause everyone wants something different?

Well Ploen Restaurant might be the place you all want to go. It’s got Western, Chinese and of course Thai. But Thai food might not be Ploen’s forté.

My wife had the ห่อหมกทะเล which is coconut red curry custard with mixed seafood. It’s a popular Thai dish but the Ploen missed the mark in it. We also had seafood tom yum which was good as well as the morning glory cause my wife loves vegetables.

I had the beef stew pot pie which I liked. But it was a small portion thought I can’t complain cause it was only 125THB

Would I go back? Probably, because I want to check out Ploen’s Café.

Large space, cute deco, kind management (to the customers), fast and efficient service, super large menu with Bangkok people test of food (base sweet)

I will bring my family here again, they will love it for sure.

We really appreciated with all the staffs here, they never let our glass empty, even its our own alcoholic beverage (left over from the wedding in their venue, they are kind enough to let us continue them later on in the restaurant area) and never missed any requests we asked.

By the way, should you dim the light in Karaoke room? I kind of see every movement inside the room of...
