I remember perfectly that evening when my friends and I stumbled upon this exceptional rooftop restaurant in Bangkok. The entrance itself made a huge impression on us, but what we saw later literally took our breath away. I came early and we had the place to ourselves at first. Blue sky rooftop has a great view and great service. It was really easy to make a reservation online the night before. The food was good but I ordered too much food so it got cold quickly. Steak with Mac and cheese was good. The prawns also were on the top my list there. However, I mostly went here for the view which didn't disappoint me at all. The bar side also looked really nice. If you want a more bustling atmosphere then I'd say make a reservation with the bar side as they looked like they were getting ready for live music. Both the bar and restaurant have great views. Note there are both inside and outside areas so if you want AC they got it. I'd come back here again next time I visit. We had the mixed grill, and it was 10/10. Best steak I've had in Thailand. Service was rather poor. Slow, non attentive, and had to wave to get any service. The food was quick to be served once they finally took the order, but drinks, etc, were super slow. There was a large table of 20 persons that was well serviced and took all the attention of the waiters and waitresses (5 workers), hence the 3 other small tables suffered being serviced despite not being busy. Total cost for 2 glasses of redwine, 2 cocktails, 1 sprite, 1 sparkling water, side of mac n cheese, side of onion rings and chips, side of broccoli was THB7500.
