I have been here 3 times, because it's pet friendly cafe with a beautiful garden, i also recommended it to my friends many times. but I have to say I was disappointed this time. For last 2 times me and my friends always bring dogs and no one said it's not allowed. I also checked on Google map&Instagram one day before and didn't see any notes about pets policy update. We arrived cafe and the staff said right now only allowed the dog under 35cm height(my dog is about 40cm). We explained We have been here twice with dogs, that's why we come back again, dog will on leash all the time, won't disturb other guests, we didn't know the policy is updated, can you allow for this time? And this staff allows our dog stay for this time.
Then we sit down and ready to order the food, another staff came and said the same words again, and she added that dog was not allowed walk around, and plz don't post photos on Internet. Later when our friends arrived, staff came and inform us pets policy once again(I told them we will follow the rules and we have one more friend with dog will arrive soon). Honestly it's really ruined my mood to take any photo or enjoy the breakfast. I understand cafe will update policy, But not after 40 minutes driving and the staff told you "you can see our notice on the door". And Actually I don't understand the limit about 35cm height, is it means all medium/large size dogs are not allowed except corgi? Anyway, we finally choose to stay and follow the rules because it's far far away from the city, we don't have enough time to change the plan. But I feel we're not welcomed, won't...
Read moreToday, I took my family visiting from Canada to Fleur, and it turned out to be one of the most perfect dining experiences we’ve ever had here.
We come here quite often, and I’ll admit that on some occasions the flavors weren’t entirely consistent — sometimes a bit bland or served a little cold — but I’ve always understood. Today, however, everything was flawless. • Service & assistance: Passed • Warm welcome: Passed • Food recommendations: Passed • Serving time: Passed • Presentation: Passed • Freshness: Passed • Flavor & texture: Passed
The highlight was definitely the Pork Chop. The meat was tender with just the right amount of chew, plated with care, and paired with silky-smooth mashed potatoes. The roasted apple with honey and a hint of cinnamon complemented the perfectly grilled pork beautifully. I regret not taking a picture — but that’s only because I cleared the plate before I even thought of it 😆.
As for drinks, Rose Gold, Lychee & Rose Soda, Moonlight, Japanese Yuzu, Seasonal Fruit, and Dirty Roses were all just as intense and delightful as we’ve come to expect from previous visits.
Some reviewers have mentioned that food and drinks here are pricey, but in my opinion, when you consider the quality of the ingredients, the freshness, the attention to detail, and the overall dining experience, it’s well worth it.
Huge compliments to the chef and the team for making this a truly...
Read moreBusiness practice was weird. The bill was B1,220 (9dec-2.30pm) which considered a fair amount to b settled by credit card. When i told the staff that i wld use credit card, she looked at the bill amount and said to settle by credit card the payment must be B1,500 or above. I asked her where was a such rule written in the cafe, she said no where only verbally inform. I walked to the cashier and was told the same, such payment condition was not written anywhere. (Usually, other restaurants wld write payment condition on the bill folder or put a notice at the cashier area.)
I felt like the practice was their staff wld look at the bill then telling customer the higher amount to b allowed to settle by credit card e.g. if the bill was B400 then to settle by credit card the payment must reach B500, if the bill was B800-B900 then amount gone up to B1,000 to b allowed credit card settlement and so on.
BTW, food taste was so so. The place may b best just to buy a cofee and...
