A cool place to hang out and have a beer. Hidden back from the main road, as soon as you park and walk down the embankment you realise you've come to some place unique.
You cross a small stream on a little ramshackle bridge, beneath banana plant fronds, and people are sitting by the stream with their feet in the water.
The scenic is peaceful and surprisingly picturesque. And as you climb the stairs, you see people sitting on pillows with their coffees and beer, feet dangling over the river. There is even a net that you can hop on for a picture or two, jutting out over the edge of the deck, almost over the river.
In a word, this place is fun. But the party stops there. We've been here twice and it's virtually impossible to flag someone down for a beer. Today, our second time here, we ordered two Chiangs and then a half hour later I went to see what happened and they said they were out of beer.
