Well, I must say I was hesitant about eating here after reading reviews. However, it was highly recommended by Frank from Fashion King here in Chiang Mai who swore by it so, we listened to his advice. And... We were not disappointed at all with our meal. A couple of things, this restaurant is in the airport, it is cafeteria like sitting, I wasn't really expecting much. However, it was packed and not full of tourists. That is my first sign of a good place to eat. We managed to find a seat and with our backpacks, it was a little tight. My son went up to order and pay for the meal and sat back down. A short while later our food arrived. It was excellent. May be a little too spicy for some people, but for a majority of the Asians I know including my family, it was just perfect. Chicken was tender, come off the bone and easy to peel the skin away (if you don't want to eat the skin). Noodles had perfect texture and the broth flavourful. Portion size was decent and the price was higher than say, street/curbside vendors, but still a good deal. 149 baht for a chicken khao soi. I did not add any other tabletop spices that were available which I normally do. I have a diverse pallate and must say it tasted authentic to me, I'm not Thai so I cannot confirm that statement. Regardless, if I'm back here again, I would definitely eat here again. I...

I'm Thai native. I had a bad experience here every time. The tables were left unattended. The staff was not nice and the service is super slow. I also confirm that they prioritise foreign customers but only before you order and do not yet pay. If you have already ordered and paid already, they treat both Thais and foreigners the same in a bad way.

If you ask for menu or request to order, they will yell at you and ask you to stay calm even though you have raised your hands three times already and no one pick up your order. When the food comes, they sometimes miss something and you need to repeat the process of getting attention from the staff again.

I will personally avoid this restuarant and leave it as the last choice for when you arrive at the airport too early and have nowhere to waste time. This restuarant will difinitely waste the...

This was the worst restaurant experience ever! We arrived around 12:30 PM, and the staff informed us that food might take up to 20 minutes. However, after waiting nearly 40 minutes, we had only received one dish. About 10 minutes later, we got the fried dumplings, but the fried rice never came. When we asked, they said they were just about to prepare it. At that point, we decided to cancel the order.

When we went to pay, the cashier asked us to wait two more minutes because they were changing shifts and needed to clear and check everything first. Seriously?!

We waited almost an hour and left frustrated with nothing to show for it. Absolutely NOT recommending...

Khao Soi house is my guilty pleasure. I used to fly in/out of Chiang Mai frequently many years ago and would always stop here for a quick khao soi. My favorite is their fried noodle Khao soi (with no curry soup). Most of the customers here are Thai (a positive sign), and while the prices may be more than double what they are in the city, they are also three times less than what you pay in Bangkok 's airports, so this is a great place to fill up before a long trip. Service is usually fast but you have to flag the servers -- typically it's a few people serving a steady stream of customers -- they work hard and the kitchen is usually fast.

[May 2023] The shop is not so hygienic. Table are left untidy until full of empty dishes. And then they will clean it one go. Staffs are almost short-handed and running between diner area and cashier and kitchen. Price is 2.5x more expensive than street khao soi. And taste quality wasn't good. Beef are still quite tender but only very little pieces. The khao soi sauce didnt hit the flavour point. They didn't even give me the Shallot and salted vege garnishing for it. Lacking some kick in it. Quite disappointed.
