Suan Pak Restaurant — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

The Apple crumble pie is extremely sweet and taste is like eating straight sugar for 170 baht which is a very expensive price for this. There is about 5 times more sugar than there should be in a dessert.

People making this dessert should have some common sense not to offer disappointing desserts like this for such a high price and expect customers to pay for this.

Very bad service. When raising the concern they only said sorry once but didn't offer a refund or solve anything and they gave me complete silent treatment.

Feels like a rip-off and scam. They think they deserve to get my money for not doing their work and just stonewalling and giving silent treatment.

I really enjoyed my lunch at Suan Pak Restaurant. It was rainy very heavy at lunch time and we had planned to eat outside so instead decided to eat inside Central Airport Plaza. When we got close to the plaza we realized a lot of other people had the same idea and the driveway and parking lot was jammed. We decided to change our plans again and drove right past the plaza entrance and made the next left where we found Suan Pak Restaurant. There was plenty of room in the parking lot and plenty of seating at the restaurant. I had a common Thai soup called Kow soy (spelling?) and some hot lemon tea. Both were delicious. Great spot conveniently located near to the airport, good for grabbing a tasty meal prior to a flight, or waiting to pick up passengers.

The menu is extremely assorted, offering decent Thai and Western dishes, as well as specialty Yen-ta-fo (เย็นตาโฟ) Noodles, and more!

Haven't had the chance to visit the café out front, but have always had an enjoyable meal. The grounds provide sufficient parking, the large trees and greenery make it shady and relaxing.
