This is place is about 30-45 minutes drive from Chaing Mai city Centre. This is an outdoor Restaurant (Thai food) surrounded by rice fields in a wonderful natural environment. The sitting area is on (dried) rice terraces specifically prepared with rustic tables and chairs which provide a relaxing and rural atmosphere. They are specialized in cooking chicken (whole) in hay fire. The taste is great and unique, especially the taste of free-range chicken. The roasted and spicy chicken with home-made sauces is an unforgettable food experience.

Just a 15 minute walk through the village from Veranda High Resort this outdoor Thai restaurant is a great option in this area. The speciality is hay cooked chicken - whole chicken cooked in boxes covered with hay and set on fire! There are buckets of ice for your beers to sit and enjoy the scenery.
