This is place is about 30-45 minutes drive from Chaing Mai city Centre. This is an outdoor Restaurant (Thai food) surrounded by rice fields in a wonderful natural environment. The sitting area is on (dried) rice terraces specifically prepared with rustic tables and chairs which provide a relaxing and rural atmosphere. They are specialized in cooking chicken (whole) in hay fire. The taste is great and unique, especially the taste of free-range chicken. The roasted and spicy chicken with home-made sauces is an unforgettable food experience.

The staff is very friendly and efficient. I visited this place for dinner, and it was a normal weekday but almost all the tables were occupied. It looks like this is a well know place for Thai food lovers. As it is outdoors, it may be a good idea to take...

Just a 15 minute walk through the village from Veranda High Resort this outdoor Thai restaurant is a great option in this area. The speciality is hay cooked chicken - whole chicken cooked in boxes covered with hay and set on fire! There are buckets of ice for your beers to sit and enjoy the scenery. The chicken is 350 baht which is pricey but as a one off experience it’s worth it. Many Thais ordered the shabu-shabu. We enjoyed the mixed vegetables in oyster sauce and the papaya salad. The ‘French fries’ were awful. Great place for kids. The horse riding centre...

I had an absolutely delightful experience at this charming pub nestled in the picturesque rice fields! The atmosphere was enhanced by fantastic music that perfectly complemented the surroundings. The food was truly authentic and bursting with flavor, making every bite a joy. To top it all off, the service was incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall warmth of the place. I can’t recommend this gem enough—it’s...

This local restaurant is really great and lovely. The food and beverage prices are reasonalble, and their taste is delicious and nice. I think this restaurant should be recommended. The staffs are kind and have the good services. You can see the nature views as my photos, this place is located in the small valley. No air-conditioner & be careful on mosquitoes, but for me this restaurant is really superb & impressive.
