Nam Nuea Nang Len — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

This place is spectacular in appearance. Great place to hang out if you’re doing the Somoeng Loop.

English here was practically non-existent. They even needed to go find this one person when I asked for a bottle of water, attempting to use the Thai word which generally have no issues with anywhere else in Thailand.

I asked for a little bit spicy for my Som Tum and it was very spicy for a Farang. Also the shrimp that came with it were raw, which surprised me.

The food was delicious and price was very cheap, my vegetarian papaya salad ( som tum) was amazing.

There was shadow of trees covering the entire sitting area so it was pretty cool and relaxing all the time while outside of the restaurant was hot like hell.

I was very impressed when we walked into this restaurant next to (around) the river and thought it must be very pricy. But it was not, so I thought maybe the food or service is bad.
