One of the worst cafés/restaurants I’ve ever been to. The service, in particular, is absolutely terrible! The café is beautifully located by the river with a hanging bridge, but that’s where the positives end.
It took over 20 minutes before the waiter came to our table to take our order. Another 15 minutes passed before the first two Coke Zeros arrived. The two teas took an additional 15 minutes to be served. And the first dish took a full 60 minutes to come out! The dishes weren’t served together but sporadically, with items arriving one at a time. For instance, three fried eggs were served on their own with nothing else. These couldn’t be eaten because the main dish was missing.
The Massaman curry wasn’t even hot—it was at best lukewarm! It seemed like it had been sitting in the kitchen for 15 minutes after being prepared before the waiter brought it to the table. After waiting a total of 90 minutes for the meals for my father and me, I asked the waiter about it. She then told us they had run out of oyster sauce and therefore couldn’t prepare the dish. But they didn’t inform us of this and just let us wait for 90 minutes! An absolute disgrace!
My ordered pork chop wasn’t even prepared and was mistakenly replaced with a plate of pork ribs. Frustrated and still hungry, we left the restaurant. Absolutely not recommended! Unfortunately, it’s the same story over and over again in Thailand when it comes to restaurants—beautiful on the outside, miserable on the inside!
Most of the positive reviews here seem to come from people who went swimming in the river or those who ordered just a drink to take Instagram photos or something similar. I 100% do not recommend this restaurant and will make sure to avoid it...

You have to cross a very sturdy rope bridge over a wonderful river/ waterfalls to access it from.the main road, that is itself near the top of a high mountain road.. Honestly, the bridge is very strong and at 18st , I felt perfectly safe to not only walk over it, but stop on it and admire the views..
Now, as with all such river crossings, time of year will depict how much flow will be in regards the river.. But even at low flow, this was still a magical and different experience to go eat in a restaurant..
The food was very nice and your order is cooked freshly for you.. I absolutely enjoyed the steamed fish...
