The Roastery By Roj — Restaurant in Chiang Rai Province

As a coffee connoisseur, I can honestly say this place serves some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. (i had 4 cups in 2 days!) They have a great selection of beans, which you can also buy and have freshly ground to your preference. The baristas and owners are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what they do.

I had the chance to chat with the owners, and it’s clear how much they truly care about coffee. They handle everything themselves—from selecting the beans to brewing and serving. On top of that, they’re committed to supporting other local brewers, which makes the experience even more special.

I’ll definitely be coming back and look forward to seeing how they continue to grow...

Ha ha I saw some almond croissants and ordered one thinking it came with the coffee as a set for 165B but only to be asked for another 80B for the latte. Oops! To be fair, the croissant was very good price aside . The latte was medium light roast beans from Pang Khon which has edged Doi Chang from my last four weeks of coffee tasting. While it was good my favourite latte is still from Soyi for 40B. 17/1/22 came here for a latte as Soyi and The Roaster were both closed. Frankly the latte for twice the price of the rest does not come close. The decor and furnishing here is hard to beat so maybe it caters for a different clientele. You...
