Recently attended the 𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐬𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐬 & 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐭 with chef Christian Herrgesell at 360 ̊ Bar in The Pavilions Phuket. Chef Christian is the former culinary director of the acclaimed 2-Michelin Star and #31 in the Worlds 50 best restaurants, Tim Raue that was featured in Netflix’s famed ‘Chefs Table’ series. Reading the menu, I was anticipating something unusual and fun – I was not disappointed.
A 5-course tapas menu - Green Thai Curry Soup, Sichuan Pork Belly, Salmon with Spicy Tomato & Som Tam, Green Asparagus Tempura with miso mayonnaise orange and Honey BBQ Chicken was cooked to perfection - well presented and tasty! Chef Christian inspired with his knowledge of Asian cuisine.
Very well known amongst the local expats, 360 Bar is the best rooftop bar / restaurant to be when you're in Cherngtalay / Layan to catch stunning golden sunset views, their resident DJ plays great tunes. A lovely place to spend the evening with family and friends drinking and eating.
