Nestled within the lush grounds of Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach, La Cucina brings the warmth and richness of southern Italian cuisine to life with a refined yet welcoming ambiance. Helmed by Chef Vincenzo Gatti, this Michelin Selected 2025 restaurant pays homage to the culinary heritage of Naples with passion, authenticity, and flair.
Our meal began with a vibrant salad, delicately balanced with fresh greens, juicy cherry tomatoes, and a light vinaigrette that awakened the palate without overpowering the natural flavors. The star of the evening was the Parma ham pizza — a masterpiece of simplicity. The crust was perfectly blistered, crisp on the edges and tender at the center, topped with velvety slices of Parma ham, creamy mozzarella, and it goes well with chilli oil. Each bite transported us to the streets of Naples.
For the main, we shared a beautifully cooked beef steak, served medium well as requested. It was seared to perfection, juicy and flavorful, with a subtle char that hinted at fired technique. The accompanying roasted potatoes added depth and balance, rounding out a deeply satisfying course. The red wine sauce was amazing.
The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere added a lively energy to the dining experience. Whether seated indoors in the cozy style room or outdoors with a scenery of home grown vegetables that used for every dish, the setting complements the soulfulness of the cuisine.
La Cucina isn’t just a hotel restaurant — it’s a destination in its own right. Chef Gatti’s commitment to southern Italian flavors and his respect for tradition make this one of the standout dining experiences in Pattaya. For lovers of Italian cuisine, La Cucina is an...
Read moreDecided not to stay to eat, you know, Italy is probably the second best country in the world to visit if you're a vegetarian, that's why they all live so long there, especially in the south! I was very shocked by the menu...especially given that there are meat and fish speciality restaurant in the same complex!! A couple of the pizzas were without meat or fish, but one of those was a dull old Margherita (!) the other was not so very interesting, but not one single pasta dish was free of meat or fish. I don't know what they expect their customer base to be....Americans and Russians I suppose? Also, the wine list was very heavy on more expensive options and crucially did not indicate the alcohol levels of any of the wines - I wouldn't mind betting that 90%+ of them are 14% abv or more - very heady for this climate! Lucky that there are plent of good Italian options in this area, that's all I can say. It's a nice looking place and I have meat eating friends that I'd like to take there, but as there's nothing of interest for the vegetarian, why would I bother! (there are...
Read moreI came for dinner in the evening. I was worried because there weren't many customers in the restaurant, but the food was delicious and I'm glad.
However, even though the food was ready in the kitchen, the person who brought it was slow, and the pasta was dry and not tasty.
I wanted to eat it freshly made.
The staff are very kind though It was a shame that it was so late to bring the food even though it was already cooked.
the price is high
However, it is a restaurant that can be used for important dates.
The attached hotel was beautiful, so I wanted to stay and see the...
