Ruantalay Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Chon Buri Province

Bang Sarae is a charming place. Ruen Talay offers stunning views of the sea and the fishing village. We went there for lunch and ate something simple. Deep-fried Grouper with garlic was very good. Crab egg chilli dip was nice and not overly Pet (burning). One star less because the chairs were uncomfortable. They were solid metal and heavy to move. The middle of the sitting part goes down thus your legs are hanging on the rims which wear you out after some time. I wonder whether anyone has commented on this before. Service was just right. Not fast service so if your hungry?? Maybe other? We waited to long still waiting while writing? Wife’s drink took way too long.. Hope it tastes good? Frustrated other tables came in behind us already eating.

Food was ok but not taste good enough for such a long wait.

I ordered green curry soft shell crab but not a lot of crab

Wife still waiting and not very happy. Wife got the fish dish but it was pork? Waiter said you ordered fish but we said yes but this is pork?

Experience here is mixed. The views and surroundings were great... you can see my photos that I posted and we experienced the sunset over the hills and it was very enjoyable. Very nice photo opportunities. However, the quality of food was disappointing. They had different presentation of Thai dishes and flavors for some of them and they were not very good. If you want good views but not great...
