Super views of the lake, comfortable seating good food and service, what more do you need?
We have been a few times and tried everything from the breakfasts to the main dishes. The menu is mainly thai food with minimal western options and not much for vegetarians. The vegetarian options are flexible though as all foods we have ordered with no meat have always been catered for. Portion size are bug, the morning omelette served in it's own frying pan is big, I'm sure there are at least 4 eggs used and loaded with the meats on offer or as I ordered with vegetables. Thai green curry was very tasty with the usual veg associated with a thai green curry, mini pigs in blankets were tasty so my girlfriend's daughter said, the coffee is a decent coffee and all this comes at a fair price!
Service has always been friendly and helpful even assisting when we came with someone with a plaster casted leg and arm.
Overall the terrace is a good choice to eat some tasty food at...
Read moreThis is a great little place, directly facing Lake Mabprachan across the street. The very open and airy feel of the restaurant is heightened by the big wide windowed front of the air-conditioned building, with a large and wide open covered patio out front. So far, my roommates and I have genuinely enjoyed everything we have eaten here, both farang (foreigner) and the Thai cuisine, as well. But to be honest, one friend I brought up here had what he considered to be a "horrible" hamburger. But myself and my roommates haven't had a single dish that we didn't really like a lot! I really enjoy their unique take on Sweet and Sour Pork. This is a nice, comfortable, casual place with REALLY good food! We will be back here again... and often! This would be a great place for a low-key, casual, date, and it has a very nice view of the lake, directly across the street! Give The Terrace a try. We did, and it's rapidly turning into one of our...
Read moreUsed to be a good place for coffee and breakfast, and Sunday roast too. Sadly, the place has changed a now Has been altered and 'muted' as far as I'm concerned Conciously aimed at a different customer base than those who are living around the lake.
Staff were super attentive and kind too, but that's changed as well
Most of the time you'll find the staff checking their phones.
The front of the place has been turned into a Thai style photo opportunity for FB with mock up bicycle and bench, with signage etc. Consequently, there's rarely customers there any more. Such a shame as it was a lovely place, with decent food and a nice atmosphere.
All of this is a distant memory now. Owners seem happy with how...
