ขนมจีนแม่ยาใจ — Restaurant in Khlong Chan Subdistrict

Would have given 5 stars if the food was hot but noticed in most Thai food shops its normal to serve their pre-cooked food cold. Didn't help when I visited that Bangkok was experiencing very nice cool weather too.

Ordered the tumeric fried fish with garlic (not spicy, garlic chips addictive!), white coconut curry (mild), pork with some sort of small potato* curry, blood cockles curry and kanom jeen (fermented rice noodles). All very nice and delicious but be warned that spice levels are advance even if you tell them "little spicy" for the kanom jeen.

Definitely a place to go for authentic Southern Thai food when you had enough of green curry and pad grapow.

it was called "mun kee noo" (mouse dropping potatoes), sorry not sure what the English name is but tasted like...

แกงกะทิปักใต้ รสชาติจัดจ้านมาก อร่อยมากยิ่งกินกับพริกทอดนี้สุดๆ

แกงป่ากะทิ รสชาติเฉยๆ นี่คิดว่ารสชาติสามารถจัดจ้านได้กว่านี้ เด็กสามารถกินได้ค่ะ

บุฟเฟ่ผักค่ะ สด กรอบ ทุกอย่าง กินขนมจีนน้ำยากับ ปลีกล้วย เคี้ยวมันๆ เพลินๆค่ะ

ถ้ากินไข่ต้มกับน้ำอาจาด ใช่รึป่าวนะ อร่อยลงตัวเลยค่ะ

นี่ดับแฟนสองคน แฟนจัดไปสองจานอิ่มแปร้เลยค่ะ นี่กินจานเดียวตอนแรกคิดว่าไม่อิ่ม พอกินหมดเท่านั้นละ...
