I had read online reviews of this place and put it on my list of places to eat while staying in beautiful Koh Lanta. The first 2 attempts were unsuccessful as this place is on the smaller side so it fills up easily and quickly. NO empty tables so I ate at nearby places. Third time was the charm… I visited earlier than the dinner hour (which is always packed) around 530pm…the place was empty! Which was good because I got to pick a nice table, rather than take the last one available. The staff are warm and friendly, and the place is clean and nicely decorated. There are plants everywhere and a nice little fish pond. Menu has many Veg options ;) I ordered Vegan Som Tum (Spicy papaya salad) and Stir fried Veggies with Tofu. Food was prepared and plated beautifully. Ingredients were fresh and clean. Thai spices were available- picked peppers, Thai chili flakes, etc. Food was excellent in flavor- I was only able to eat half of my 2 plates- took the rest as takeaway to enjoy later. Very reasonably priced for delicious Vegan Thai food. Thank you. I would definitely come back to eat here if I were to revisit. Highly recommend. šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘ Maybe go a little earlier than the usual dinner hour (7pm)- better chances of getting a table.

If what you want it's to experience local traditional thai cuisine, Three Sisters is your place. This small restaurant has outdoor seating and a menu full of flavours. I came here because someone recommended me and I was so impressed. I had super crispy spring rolls stuffed with cabagge and veggies. The sweet chilli sauce was one of the best one I have tried. Main course was green curry with tofu and vegetables and rice. It was lovely. When I say you get great value for the money you pay is an underestimation. Portions are really big and I could definitely have shared my main with my husband. Among all the dishes you can find spicy papaya salad, Pad Thai Shrimp, Massaman curry, Tom Yam... They also cook some traditional dishes very difficult to find in the southern of Thailand like Khao Soi. I will definitely come back here my next time in Koh Lanta. Definitely my favourite place to have dinner. Absolutely perfect 🄰

Pro - Friendly service - The coconut milkshake was delicious - Portions were average sized Con - Main courses were boring, bland (little to no seasoning), unspectacular - Only 4 shrimps in the main course, which were dry - On the menu, it’s noted that in a full restaurant you might have to wait for 60min for the food as everything is freshly prepared. Why would one expect, e.g. families with children, to wait for 60min for their food? - There are over 100 dishes on the menu. A good restaurant isn’t defined by the variety of dishes but by the freshness of the ingredients. With over 100 dishes in the menu, it’s likely the chef doesn’t buy fresh ingredients every morning. The taste also suggests otherwise (convenient food) - From 7pm onwards, expect a wait of approximately 15-20min outside the restaurant as it tends to be full

The food was fresh but not very delicious. We ordered fried chicken with cashew nuts and massaman curry.

Fried chicken with cashew nuts: the portion is big but there are a lot of vegetables and little chicken. Vegetables were practically fresh as if there were not even fried a bit. There was very little gravy so that you can't pour it on the rice. Cashew nuts are ok - too many of them. It would be better to add more chicken and reduce the amount of cashew nuts.

Massaman curry: too much potato!!!! Please add more chicken and reduce the amount of potato. I felt only potato and did my best to "catch" chicken and have some protein :) The gravy was good but I asked to make it a little bit spicy. In fact, it was not salted and was not spicy at all - I had to add some salt and pepper on my own.

All in all, the food was ok but, as for me, I wouldn't go there again. There are other places with good food and more...

Stir fry cashews with chicken is a must!

Despite this restaurant’s immediate roadside location, the atmosphere inside and toward the back of the restaurant is such that you almost forget any vehicles passing by and the food is tasty enough that you don’t mind the hustle and bustle of cars and motorbikes.

I can recommend the spring rolls and the stir fried cashew with chicken. There’s a nice section toward the back of the restaurant on the left hand side with plants and some water features that transport you into a slightly less ā€˜typical roadside restaurant’ space.

The staff are very friendly and prompt with their service and so far, I haven’t had any complaints about the food (which is fairly reasonably priced, too).

I came here on the recommendation of some German friends whom I met travelling. They’ll be glad to know I enjoyed my visits to The Three Sisters!

(Plural,… I went back more than once!)

Go...
