The beach where this bar located is a bit strange. It is crowded with restaurants and bars which are trying to attract attention but even at high season during happy hour everything seems far too empty reminding the observer of a festival which is already over. One could think that tourism here just doesn't work, but that is clearly not the case as many of the resorts and guest houses are completely booked. This leads to the assumption that the problem are the beach bars themselves.
Looking at most of the places you can clearly see why this is true. The music is either too loud and too aggressive or cluttered with awfully emotional covers of 2000-something Popsongs. The Cocktails are low-quality containing almost no alcohol and the food lacks variety.

Read moreThis place is absolutely AWESOME and a must-visit for anybody travelling to Koh Lanta! Situated right next to the beach, it offers beach chairs to chill and watch the sunset while sipping on some cold beer. Plenty of places to sit or lay down "inside"/under the roof. Great variety of drinks, super friendly staff - I wish I had visited this place earlier. Playing chillout music before the sunset and deep house right after the sunset - it couldn't get any better. Thanks to Benz and his whole crew for the lovely...
