Peak Café — Restaurant in Ko Lanta Yai

The nicest cafe I have been to in Koh Lanta. The place is very cute, with the characteristic Koh Lanta decoration and thai vibes. The ataff is very welcoming and friendly and they make you feel super relaxed. The food is absolutely beautiful. There are so many options it is difficult to choose just one. My husband and I had omelette with onion, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes, with wholegrain bread. We ordered as well fresh squeeze orange juice and fresh pineapple and ginger juice. I love tropical fruits, I also ordered the fruit side plate. My husband tried the fluffy pancake side. As you can see in the picture those dishes are actually huge for a side, so the value it is really good. And most important taste and flavours are amazing!!!! The fluffy package was as it said fluffy, golden crispy outside and soft and melting inside. Fruit is yummy, specially mango and passion fruit, my favourite ones. The main courses came with coffee included, and my almond cappuccino is probably the most beautiful one I have ever had. The almond milk they use it is delicious. We spent a little more than other places however dishes are huge for two people, but we wanted to try few different things.

This place definitely deserves more than 5 ⭐. We will be back soon (like tomorrow 😅) Love love love...

Another great restaurant on Lanta to review. I only do 5 Star. If it doesn't merit that, I pass.

This place is extra special and because of superior attention to detail in 3 things in the context of breakfast.

The eggs are eggs and were cooked right with warm and mostly runny yolks. Perfect for sopping up with great bread, which brings me to the 1st of 3 great details. It's made in house and is wonderful, particularly for Thailand where bread is not much of a thing.

2nd is the homemade jam. Raspberry. Just excellent. Such a nice touch where even in high end places you're served the ubiquitous processed strawberry jelly in a plastic, hermetically sealed pot.

3rd is the bacon. Years ago I tired of the thick sliced, applewood smoked bacon that was all the rage everywhere in the US. I went to thin and crispy and if smoked, hickory is the preference.

Well, let me tell you. This is thin and crispy done to perfection and the consistency slice to slice is notable.

Standard is 150b with 2 slices of bacon. An extra 50 gets you 4 slices.

It’s way overrated. No services at all. Food is really not that great. I ordered golden tofu scramble eggs, the only good part is the bread and jam. It’s also overpriced for Koh Lanta at 250 baht a set. I don’t mind paying more if the food is great, but it’s really just not worth it. We have been staying in lanta for 12 days, this is the worst place we ate at. When I came in I asked for menu, nobody responded to me so I had to look for the menus and took them from their reception table myself. Have to get inside to order food which is okay if they could have a sign to indicate, when waiting to order, even though I was the first in line, they just completely ignored me and asked people behind me for their orders and I was really shocked, luckily the people behind me pointed out I was there first.
