Mr. Dam BBQ — Restaurant in Ko Samui

I have to say I’m blown away by the value for money and the variety of amazing fresh food here. I’m from England and have eaten bbq and hotpot buffets all over Asia for more than 20 years and this was the most authentic and enjoyable experience I’ve had in many years. For those that have posted reviews saying the food is tasteless, they are talking with a lack of knowledge in how this kind of place works. The meats and seafood are fresh and you have to cook them yourself. There are many sauces (amazing ones at that) which you take to your table and then dip them. Also, pay the extra for the hotpot and boil your vegetables in the broth. Stick your meat and seafood in the broth or over the charcoals.. Bur leave room to drink some of the broth at the end, when all the flavours have fused. Don’t be afraid to look or even ask others how to enjoy this food properly. It is an experience that westerners don’t have and it’s truly amazing. Also, they have limitless soft drinks, pizza, salad, wings and many more dishes, as well as ice cream. This is an all you can eat restaurant, in which you can have pre-cooked meals (e.g., nuggets, noodles, soups, oysters etc.) or cook on your own choosing from a large seafood, meat, and vegetable buffets. If you are not familiar with some of the meats they serve, ask the staff and they will show you how to cook them accordingly.

it's the better one of the two seafood all you can eats nearby. wider choice of ready-made squids/shrimps/shells. They also provide tissues which (ridiculously) the other restaurant gives only a couple of. you can also easily throw away the rubbish. it's the little things.
