I had an unforgettable experience at Pla Pla in Four Seasons Koh Samui, made all the more special thanks to the warmth and generosity of Mr. Akshay. What started as a solo lunch turned into one of the most meaningful and enjoyable afternoons of my trip.

From the moment I arrived, Mr. Akshay made me feel genuinely welcome. He joined me for a portion of the lunch, offering thoughtful company and conversation that felt natural and kind—never forced. His passion for the property shone through in every moment.

After the meal, he graciously offered to show me around the beachside and the accessible parts of the property surrounding the restaurant. The way he walked me through the space—with both pride and gentleness—made me appreciate the Four Seasons ethos on a deeper level. It wasn’t just a tour; it was a curated experience that made me consider the soul of the resort.

The food, by the way, was nothing short of phenomenal—refined yet comforting. Every dish was prepared with care, balanced in flavor, and beautifully presented. The service staff was attentive without being intrusive, and every interaction carried that signature Thai graciousness.

The beachside setting, the sound of the waves, the sunlight shimmering off the sea—everything came together to create an atmosphere that was serene yet vibrant. The breeze, the lush greenery, the pristine layout—it all felt like a glimpse of paradise.

Thank you to the Pla Pla team, and especially to Mr. Akshay, for making this a truly special experience. I left with a full heart and a deeper appreciation for the kind of hospitality that Four...

Everything about this place is fantastic. The Mediterranean-style dinner was outstanding, with each dish nicely designed, freshly prepared and full of flavour. The team provided warm hospitality and honored out of the way to make us feel taken care of the rest of the night. One team member, in particular, was attentive and helped guide us through the menu, ensuring we choose dishes cooked to our liking.

The food itself was superb. The Atlantic salmon was such a delight, and the desserts were equally delightful. And, to my natural knowledge of the Four Seasons Koh Samui, the attention to detail extended beyond the food to the overall ambiance. The marvelous beachside setting is absolutely secluded, and the restaurant delivers immaculate tropical designs combined with lush plantations. I especially liked the retractable roof that can be activated for shelter when it started to rain. We dined by the terrace, under the pergola.

Overall, a superb evening in a such a lovely setting, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an elevated beachside...

I wish that I could write a full review for this restaurant but we never got a chance to eat there because of a disconnect within their team. We made a reservation for 3:30 for a birthday celebration lunch. They replied to confirm and ask for any dietary restrictions. While on our way to the property, our driver encountered traffic and we were going to be a little late. We called to alert them of our late arrival and they informed us that they stop taking food orders at 3:30 so we would be moved to the bar which ended up having a very limited menu. Turns out that there was no way that our reservation would have been honored even at our original time. I am dumbfounded as to how I was allowed to make This reservation given that they never could have served us. Our time at the bar was fine but not what I had in mind for a birthday meal. So heads up and double confirm your reservation if you are booking closer to their closing time. FYI the website said they closed at 4 pm which I assumed meant that they wouldn’t seat anyone...
