Mandalay Beach Villas — Hotel in Ko Samui

Villa Soong had all the amenities we needed for a wonderful stay, and the staff was incredibly attentive to our needs. It was truly a luxurious experience that we will never forget!

The location of the villa was perfect—it was secluded enough to provide us with a private beach oasis but still conveniently located near popular restaurants and attractions.

We spent our days lounging by the pool and taking in the breathtaking views of the ocean. The interior of the villa was just as impressive as the exterior. The open-concept design provided a spacious feel and allowed us to fully appreciate the beauty of Koh Samui.

The three bedrooms were spacious, private and comfortable. Ideal if you're staying with a group of people, whether family or friends.

From start to finish, the staff at the villa went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They made it easy for us to unwind and relax after a long day of exploring the island. The host David proactively provided great recommendations , from local excursions to restaurant choices, and was always available to answer any questions we had. The driver, Champ, was available to provide us with a private tour and went above and beyond to show us fantastic attractions and local gems that weren't on our own itinerary. Our housekeeper Kob, was excellent and very friendly. She provided daily housekeeping (making the beds, refreshing towels, cleaning etc) and prepared refreshing breakfast (including coffee, fresh fruit and eggs, cooked any style). One of the other highlights of our stay at the villa was definitely the exquisite Thai food prepared by Kob. She catered to our dietary needs and we enjoyed each and every meal. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience and holiday.

The villa was truly a sanctuary, with an ambiance of relaxation and tranquility. We would gladly rebook the villa and would highly recommend this to all our family...

Me and my partner stayed here last month, not only was it the single worst rental experience I had ever had but it was also topped off with the owner of the property scamming us out of money on our check out. I have never written a review like this but I do not want what happened to use to happen to anyone else. Though sold as a luxury villa, we had no hot water for the first 2 weeks, the stove, fridge, tv, entertainment system, shower, bathtub and lights all over the property did not work for the majority of our stay. The property is extremely neglected. But to top all of this off when we politely requested the owner take care of any of this (amongst the variety of other issues the place has - to numerous to mention here) the owner threatened us, was extremely rude even going so far as disparage her own family and at the end literally scammed us out of large amount of money on check out (among other things she included an excess towel charge out of no where). I could write for paragraphs about how horrific this experience was (and this was literally less than a month ago, we checked out march 1st) but I would just warn STAY AWAY. Again, normally I would not review someone's place in a negative way, but in this case the owner and agents have acted in a literally criminal way and people need to be warned. I have photo albums full of how dirty, broken, rusty and neglected this...

We just finished our stay in one of the villas. Villa itself was beautiful, with access to the beach, good size pool and an amazing view of the sea. But what truly made our stay memorable was Kob’s presence- the sweetest and most joyful lady who took care of us, our breakfast and all our needs.
