Koh yao Bistro By. Chef Aon — Restaurant in Ko Yao Noi

My wife and I visited this place on two nights of our stay on the island last week. Everyone was so friendly. The prices were not expensive as I had read in previous reviews, actually we found his place to be very reasonably priced relative to other places on the island. The steamed fish with lime sauce is great - I would also recommend other fresh seafood like the tempura shrimp and squid. One of the only places that we also saw many locals eating at. We had an incredible experience at Koh Yao Bistro by Chef Aon. This super friendly, family-run restaurant made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors and dishes clearly prepared with care and love.

We enjoyed it so much that we ended up eating here two days in a row! The owner speaks English, which made everything so easy and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality combined with the amazing food truly made this a highlight of our trip.

We ate here three times during a two week stay on the island as it was one of our favorite restaurants. We tried a range of cocktails and dishes and everything was very good, served by friendly staff and/or the chef. The ambience is inviting and relaxing; when we went there was always a mix of locals and visitors. The restaurant has moved since some of these photos were taken and no longer sits right on the water - but this doesn’t detract from the experience if you’re eating after dark. Highly...
