Golden Sky View Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

The entrance isn’t very visible, so I’ve included some pictures to help you find it. At the end of a grassy driveway, you’ll discover this hidden gem!

There are only a few tables, and it was almost full when we arrived. We ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai and Shrimp Cho Chee, beautifly arranged and both were delicious, especially the latter. My fiancé and I also wanted to try the mango sticky rice, a dish we had missed during this trip. It was as delicious as it was beautiful to look at! Unfortunately our experience was not like other reviews. Lovely terrace but after over 30 minutes we had to go and ask to order. No problem. Then half the food didn’t arrive after waiting another 45 minutes. Other tables near us also looking unhappy and waiting longer than us. We got no cutlery, no second drink and the forgotten food didn’t come. Meat only had fat and very chewy so didn’t enjoy it at all but ate what was edible. What an absolute hidden gem! The food here is outstanding and the best we’ve had in Thailand so far on our travels. Such a chilled vibe with super friendly staff. So good that we said it’s probably up there with our top five meals (and we’re getting on a bit 🤣). We had Chicken Satay, Spring Rolls, Pineapple fried rice with chicken and Chicken Tom Yum soup.
