Seaside Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Ko Yao Yai

We came some days ago and ordered a greek salad, calamari and a house burger, the food was ok, nothing special and the service was pretty slow, we waited around 30minutes to get our starters and they were just 3 tables in total with customer. Today, Christmas, we decided to get a festive dinner with our friends because we liked the location and vibe, we waited 1 hour and 10minutes for the first starter, we ordered 3 caesar salads, a plate of fried calamari, fresh tuna tartare, chicken cashew, we kindly asked for non spicy chicken and two plates of pasta. The salads came in 2 first which was pretty weird, considering that it was the same type of salad and we waited that long, tuna tartare was very disappointing, too much pepper even for a tartare and no salt at all, no sauce or garnish besides salad, pastas were completely okay, but the chicken cashew was extremely spicy, i am just very disappointed by our Christmas dinner, wasn’t expecting much but this was really sad, i would say...

We recently spent 4 nights at the nearby Anantara hotel and are delighted to have discovered this beautifully situated restaurant on our first evening. It was so good and cozy that we went there ... 4 times. When you descend a staircase from the street you enter this romantic beach restaurant Mantha (very friendly manager) and her dream team will immediately give you a warm welcome. You can eat on the beach or in the open restaurant. Their cocktails and dishes are very tasty and affordable. We ate delicious fresh fish for 2 people (1 kg), which they also fillet on request. If you are looking for a good restaurant in a nice location with good price/quality, definitely go to the Seaside restaurant. Would like to end by thanking Mantha for the 4 beautiful top...

Do not hesitate to eat at Seaside restaurant. The seating is amazing, at the beach (sheltered) for lovely views. Nice music. Open kitchen. Feeling romantic? They offer private dining.

Our server was just so very kind and attentive. We felt very welcome.

We ate too much 😅 but only because the menu looked so tempting. We had the whole red snapper (fried with garlic), red curry shrimp, tuna tartare and fried spring rolls and egg fried rice for our daughter. Everything was so good.

The cocktails, we drank too much, are of excellent quality. No concessions made.
