Keaw Kai Krob — Restaurant in Lat Krabang Subdistrict

When visiting our daughter at the University in Lat Krabang, we would often dine at this restaurant. As a family, our dining experience was always wonderful and most enjoyable. The food and service were consistently exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised to be informed that this restaurant just opened a branch at the Market Place Theprak which is no more than ten driving minutes from our home. My wife and I visited the restaurant at this location yesterday and I was truly amazed. The restaurant is this location truly has all the modern conveniences. It has a high tech modern kitchen which includes an impressive ventilation hood system as well as an industrial dishwasher. This facility eliminate any concerns you may have as far as sanitation with its inclusion of the industries latest equipment. Another noticeable item is each employee performing duties within the kitchen has either a hairnet or chef hat as well as the wearing of rubber gloves. But the best thing of all regarding this newly opened facility is that the food is even better than what I have eaten at the other facility. Right next door to Canalis Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel (which I happily recommend too). This is very much a local Thai restaurant and so a lot of the menu is just in Thai, but there are some pictures and English. Also some staff don't speak English (why should we expect them too), but they will find one that does and they are super helpful. Ordered a papaya salad and two soft green crabs. These are raw like sushi but unbelievably good to eat. They asked if we were okay with spicy.......this was SPICY! Being the only English in the restaurant and being we were eating raw spicy crab, the staff kept taking a look to see if we were enjoying/surviving the spicy crab. Answer is YES to both. Yesterday, I took my siblings to the airport and looked for a nearby restaurant to grab a meal. We decided to stop by “Pa Kaew Crispy-Skin Grilled Chicken,” a well-known spot for its delicious crispy-skinned grilled chicken. The skin was perfectly fried to a crunchy texture, making it truly enjoyable.

Apart from the grilled chicken, we also tried the corn and salted egg som tam, which had a well-balanced, flavorful taste, and the Isaan sausage, which had a crispy casing and finely textured filling—both were delightful.

One of the highlights of this restaurant is its accessibility for wheelchairs. The entrance is convenient, the restrooms are spacious and wheelchair-friendly, and the entire dining area is accessible. The restaurant and restrooms were also clean and well-maintained. However, one minor downside was that there were some mosquitoes inside the air-conditioned area on the day we visited.

Overall, it’s a place worth revisiting!

เมนูที่ลองและประทับใจนอกจากไก่ย่างแล้ว ก็มี ส้มตำข้าวโพดไข่เค็ม รสชาติเข้มข้นลงตัว และ ไส้กรอกอีสาน ที่หนังกรอบ เนื้อละเอียด อร่อยไม่ผิดหวัง
